Schedule

I’m currently have a lot of free time but I am attending college a GMU some in person and some online classes so my schedule is very flexible! I mainly available every day except Tuesday and Thursday between 3:30-7 and I can board and be a sitter anytime when requested! I also usually always bring my sister with me on any service I do and she always helps out. I also want to let pet parents know that if your pet(s), specifically larger dogs, who are overly reactive that I can not provide services for you because of the safety of myself and the dog, please just be honest about how your dog(s) responds to caregivers, I always try my best to provide 110% effort in all my services and I can’t do that when your pet(s) is grabbing my leg and not letting go, or not listening to any commands or biting my clothes or my hands. I have walked large dogs and I have never had any issues with them and are usually always the sweetest pups to walk and are very gentle on their leashes, and are always excited to go on walks by jumping on me or licking but if your dog has behavioral issues I will not be able to provide services.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a dog friendly neighborhood and live near a walking trail. I have a family dog and cat who are both friendly to all animals. They are both low maintenance and always enjoy meeting new animals, they have been around birds and guinea pigs as well! When boarding I prefer small or low maintenance pets as I usually let them roam around the lower level of my home and I don’t let my pets go into the kitchen/living room area because I don’t want them to accidentally get into anything that they can reach or gets left out from a kid and because the family dog is small but is still able to get on top of our table by jumping a chair so I just avoid letting them in that area. I am okay with them being on furniture and beds and the kids that are home aren’t allowed in the lower level when boarding any dog. I do however prefer sitting in the pet parents home just mainly because the pets are most comfortable at their home and I just follow the instructions the pet parents provides.

Pets

A typical day

For walks, most dog walks I have done have been on Wag and I always let them lead the way and let them take their time on walks and walk at their pace! I prefer walking in trails as dogs seem to enjoy walks more when they can sniff around and provides some shade especially during the summer time! For boarding, I usually follow the daily routine of the pets since it can vary a lot on how much engery and their diets. The pets will usually have lot of cuddles and play time and they need to be comfortable with other pets, I have a family dog and an indoor cat at home.

I would like to know any tiggers they might have, if they pull on walks and any commands they know incase they need to be corrected or become reactive about other dogs/people they see. I’ve done almost 100 walks on Wag and every dog is different so I always prefer to know the personality of a pet and to know what to expect. I would also like to know what the pet likes and what they don’t like to provide the best care!
