When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow any specific instructions closely to keep things as familiar as possible. I pay attention to the pet’s routines, favorite spots, and even little quirks to help them feel at ease.

Before taking care of your dog I require a meet & greet. A few things I’d love to know is your pets personality & daily routine, favorite activities & toys they like to engage in, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, what is their behavior around other pets or people, and what are your house rules. I would also prefer if you cloud disclose cameras in the house during pet sittings.
A typical day
I usually start the day by checking in with each pet, giving them a warm hello and making sure they’re all set with fresh food and water. For the younger pets, like puppies or high energy dogs, we kick off the day with a fun activity like a walk or some fetch in the yard or park. For the older pets, I take things slower. We’ll go for a gentle stroll, letting them sniff around and explore at their own pace. Some of the older dogs love a good cuddle and back rub session, which is a nice way for them to feel comforted and cared for.

My background means I’m not just about basic pet care. I’m really tuned into each animal’s specific needs, whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog needing some extra love and care. I’m used to watching for subtle changes in behavior and health, thanks to both my nursing studies and years of experience. Puppies? I’m there for the training, patience, and energy they need.
