Hey there! I'm Esperanza, a college student passionate about animals. I've always had pets growing up as a child, and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in pet care comes from having some of my own and volunteering at West Valley Animal Shelter in Los Angeles. I have an adorable Rottweiler named Charlie, who I've been taking care of ever since I was 9 years old. With my experience, your pet will be in the best and safest care ever! I have a clear understanding of what dogs need to make their playtime enjoyable. I always clean up after them, include a safe playtime, clean them properly, feed them healthy food, and shower them with lots of love and affection as if they were my own pet. I'm able to quickly adapt to different environments and understand the behaviors of dogs, which allows me to be the best pet sitter you’ll ever have! Pet care fits into my weekly routine perfectly because I enjoy exercising with dogs to continue staying healthy as well as receiving pure happiness from playing with adorable pets. I always immediately clean up after pets' discharge and maintain the area clean, and I always communicate thoroughly with my clients to find out which area of their home are their pets allowed in. I respect and understand house rules as well as making sure my clients' pets aren't making a mess.

I felt so comfortable leaving my dog Onyx in Esperanza’s care while I was traveling for the holidays! She is such a kind soul and so welcoming that Onyx and her bonded immediately. She asked all the right questions which ensured me she would do an amazing job, and also kept me in the loop daily regarding how he was doing. Onyx was well exercised and tired when I got home even though the weather wasn’t the greatest while I was gone. She took such good care of him and my place was in pristine condition when I got home! We will definitely use Esperanza again in the future and recommend her to others who are looking for a pet sitter!
Esperanza was fantastic. She took great care of Aston and sent updates with cute pictures of their time together. Aston had a wonderful time with her.
Esperanza was communicative and sent lots of photos. Unfortunately apart from that I was pretty disappointed. Before the house sitting I told her my dog is high energy and would require long walks and play time. She responded that she loves walks and that she would be a great match. This is not what happened in reality. She took my dog for a walk once a day, excluding the first day which because of rain she only let her out in the backyard. When I returned I found poop in the house, even though my dog is house trained and haven’t had an accident since she was a puppy. My dog was also extremely hyperactive, showing that walks were short and there was no play time otherwise. Would not recommend if your dog requires more the minimal care and one walk a day.
Esperanza is a wonderful, warm person! She is reliable--always on time with a smile on her face. My two pups love her! She plays with them and they look forward to her coming again to see them! Carli waited by the door, knowing that her new best friend was about to arrive! We were on travel staying in a hotel, but Esperanza made them feel comfortable--and me, too! I highly recommend her --ten stars!
Esperanza was the perfect choice for my two maltipoos! She was great with communication and being on time, and even gave a bath to Frankie (I know how feisty he gets). She is very dependable and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for your dogs.
Espy is the epitome of a big heart and a caretaker. Espy happily took my dogs in for two weeks amidst the pandemic due to certain circumstances. She checked in regularly, but seeing her gentleness and joy being around animals, I knew I could trust her immediately! It was such a positive and stress-free arrangement having Espy watch over my dogs, and I hope to do so whenever needed!

Schedule
Pet care fits into my routine in a way that feels rewarding. I like to watch dogs on weekends when I have more time for longer walks. After work or school, once I’ve finished my tasks, I enjoy spending time with them. Being around loving dogs and cats is always a treat for me—it brings a lot of joy to my day.

I care for pets by ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-attended to. In my home, I provide a clean and comfortable environment, fresh water and food, and plenty of playtime and exercise. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions to maintain the pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, administering medication if needed, and keeping their space tidy. I prioritize giving them affection and attention to make them feel at ease, whether they’re at home or visiting. I respect boundaries and ensure that I follow instructions!

A typical day
Typically I take my clients' pets on walks around the block or to a nearby dog-friendly park where I usually run around with them or throw dog toys to play fetch. I tend to shower pets with lots of love and attention which is fun for the pets.
