A friendly and trustworthy carer who LOVES animals
I have been taking care of my dog Rocco for 13 years now, at first when I was younger with some help from my family but now having taken full responsibility of him and his necessities. Additionally, I have been doing pet sitting jobs for my neighbours and family members for several years. Now that I am away from home studying, I would love to still have some contact with animals and to take care of them, as I believe they give an unmatchable energy of comfort and peace. Personally, I also have experience in sick dogs as my own went through one not long ago and so I had to give him medicine daily, so if that is the case for your dog, it would be no problem.

Esmeralda was so friendly, my dog was really well loved after, he's had a brilliant day with a few walks and loads of affection. She sent me some lovely photos of their day together. I would definitely recommend Esmeralda and I'll be using her again.

Some weekends I call Esmeralda to take care of my Labrador dog while we are away (we live in Madrid). We are super happy with her because she is a charming, educated and affectionate girl, very responsible and loves animals. She spends a lot of time with our dog, takes him out several times a day, takes great care of feeding him and even combs and brushes him. We always feel calm when we leave for weekend , because she is completely trustworthy.
Esmeralda se ha ocupado de mi perrita Lana durante varios meses, viniendo a recogerla a casa 2 veces al día para sacarla a pasear. Se nota que le encantan los animales y me ha dado en todo momento mucha tranquilidad y su ayuda ha sido fundamental, ya que no podíamos ocuparnos de Lana en esos horarios. Siempre ha llegado a su hora y Lana la adora, se ponía muy contenta en cuanto oia que se acercaba a la casa.

Schedule
In my house we are living 4 people, and therefore, even though I am studying at lancaster university and will have to be out of the house sometimes, the pet will very rarely be fully alone in the house, so it would be always accompanied just in case it needs anything. In terms of taking it for a walk and feeding it, I would be happy to accommodate to the time in which it usually does these things so that it feels as comfortable as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
In order to take care of the dogs, I would take them for walks and feed them as many times as they personally need in order to stay healthy and happy. As well, I believe that it is better if they always have someone around, in case they need anything and also because I feel that for them to feel accompanied is essential in order to feel they are in a safe environment. Additionally, I know it is essential to be aware of the dogs preferences in terms of how much space they need to themselves and how much they like to play and be active, so I would definitely love to know about the dog I’ll be taking care of specifically in order to make it be as comfortable and fun as possible for him when staying with me.

A typical day
Since the morning I would get the dog out for some exercise and a bit of fresh air and then take him for a walk one or two times more, depending on his usual necessities. I would feed him as much as he needs, always following the owner’s guidelines and as long as he is home he will be entertained and cared for.
