At home (Corinth, VT), I have grown up with 30 chickens, 3 sheep, a dog, and now 3 cats (we had 5 at one point!). I have experience dog sitting for multiple weeks at a time, dog walking, and am patient with anxious, easily aggravated, and loud dogs.

I have cared for multiple pets while their owners were on vacation in-home, however, I also have experience caring for a cat for 3 weeks on a drop-in basis. I am responsible with keys, as I have sat for homes in both rural environments as well as in Boston, MA.

A responsive and clear communicator, Esme kept us up-to-date with daily photos and check-ins. Esme is one of the most conscientious, loving, and dependable animal caretakers I know!! I trust her completely with all of my animals (cats, dog, hedgehog, chickens, and sheep) and absolutely LOVE when she is the one who is responsible for them when I have to be away!

Schedule
I currently work in the mornings on Saturdays, but am free the rest of the week to tend to pets' needs! I love going for walks so an active dog is right up my alley, however I have plenty of experience with less active dogs as well (my family had a 16 y.o. chocolate lab).
