I love working with all animals!
I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my household. Growing up, I took care of my family dog and cat including walks, vet visits, administering medicine, and feeding. I have also worked as a kennel assistant at a vet hospital where I learned professional pet care techniques and valuable vet tech skills. As an intern at the NC Aquarium, I learned how to safely handle and take care of all types of animals. When taking care of others beloved furry friends, I approach the task with patience, special attention to any requests, and the utmost respect. I understand how important ones pet is and pledge to be an exemplary care taker. I have also spent months working with a dog trainer, so I have experience with using only positive reinforcement on even the most restless and undisciplined dogs. As a current college student, I miss my own wonderful dog each day and cannot wait to meet your lovable companion!

I do not currently have any pets living with me, but when I did, I would feed my dog and cat twice a day and walk my dog at least once a day. I will respect how you take care of your pets in your own home and will honor any specific requests you have for me.

Eryn was wonderful with our pup Riley! She is really patient and sweet and was very communicative while we were away. She was also super respectful of our house and even watered our plants which we really appreciated. We highly recommend Eryn!!

Eryn has been an animal lover since she could walk. She has a particular fondness for dogs and showers all dogs she sees with love and affection. She was very attached to our little white Schipperke mixed breed dog and was very sad when he passed away in her arms. Later she persistently requested another dog, and since she was older, I agreed on the condition that she alone would take care of, and train, the new dog. She did tend to all of Lilah's needs when we brought her into the family, and also signed up for dog training lessons. She worked with and hung out with Lilah all the time (Lilah slept on her bed every night, in addition to following Eryn around all day). It was a sad day for both when Eryn went off to college, but she makes it clear that she expects daily pictures of Lilah to keep form missing her too much. It is hard to imagine Eryn not loving and caring for any dog she comes into contact with.
