Growing up, we always had a menagerie of animals! Always multiple dogs and cats and various other smaller friends. As soon as I had my own home, the very first thing I did was adopt a dog!

Schedule
I have past experience working in veterinary offices and have in the assisted doctors with technical duties. I am also the sister of a very accomplished, veterinary technician, and I have gained invaluable information from her experiences.

Safety, trust & environment
We are conveniently located just a mile and a half from downtown Saint Augustine and 3 miles from Saint Augustine Beach. While you are out sightseeing you have the peace of mind knowing that your pet is having just as much fun as you are! There is never a dull moment at our house! My teenage daughter loves to pet all the animals. When we go out for walks, she frequently calls out to dog owners, “Excuse me! Can I pet your dog?” She is a huge help and loves when we are able to pet sit! We have a mini dachshund in our home named Gretel. Gretel can be a little standoffish at first, but she enjoys having friends come to play. We do have a gated Florida room so we separate the animals at meal times and if they are going to be alone for more than a few minutes. We also have a sweet older cat in our home. Mynx doesn’t care about other animals and mostly stays hidden in my daughter’s room while pet sitting. We generally gate off the rear hallway so that Mynx has privacy.
Pets
A typical day
We have a wonderful neighborhood for walking, with plenty of places to sniff around. There is a lovely park just at the end of the road and my backyard is very large, allowing for plenty of places to explore. My daughter often assists me with our pet clients, and she really enjoys playing fetch with both dogs & cats.
