Dog's Best Friend in Prospect Park
Hi all, I'm a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet sitter who is now on Rover! 🐈 I’m experienced with cats and dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Recent clients (see photos) include a 7-year old Pit Bull mix, a 3-year-old German Shepherd, and an 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. I grew up with a Siberian Husky, followed by a Shiba Inu, so I'm accustomed to highly independent, intelligent dogs. Once I no longer had a dog of my own, I spent 10 years watching a family friend's Daschund mix on occasion. Reach out if you are interested in learning more or would like further references!

Erin is a magnificent dog sitter, she was very accommodating as I had to make arrangements on short notice for my Miniature Schnauzer Scout. I had total peace of mind while away knowing Scout was getting long walks through the park and lots of cuddles from Erin. Erin does a great job sending updates throughout the stay and is always prompt in responses, and was gracious in her willingness to work around some of Scout’s odd habits. Scout looks forward to her next visit with Erin and I’m thrilled to have found a reliable sitter in the neighborhood!
Erin is one of our most trusted pet sitters. She's looked after our German Shepherd, Coast, many times and always does an excellent job. He's a big boy (80 lbs), but she handles him with ease, and he absolutely adores her — we've run into her out and about before, and he sprints straight to her, jumping up and down with excitement. She takes him on plenty of walks, gives him lots of snuggles, and we never have to worry about him when he's in her care. She also stays in our home while pet sitting, and it's always spotless when she leaves. I would highly recommend Erin to watch your furry friends!
Erin is wonderful! She stayed in our home and took care of our dog while we were visiting family overseas. We truly felt confident that our pup would be well taken care of and with that peace of mind, we were able to enjoy our vacation. Erin was respectful of our space, communicative, and responsive. She shared pictures everyday (huge plus) and I’m willing to bet that her camera roll is still filled with photos of our pup! :) We would definitely work with her again.
Erin takes great care of my cat, Frankie! Frankie has some special health needs and daily meds which Erin gladly took on. She is flexible, responsive, and communicative. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs pet care!

Schedule
I'm available weekdays and most weekends this fall and winter. As I'm currently in between jobs, I can offer your pet lots of attention, playtime, runs, and long walks in nearby Prospect Park.

I live in a three-bedroom apartment, just 10 minutes from Prospect Park, with two dog-loving roommates and ample space for your pet to roam around and play. I've also happily watched cats and dogs in their owners home.
A typical day
I'll take your dog on long walks through Prospect Park or Fort Greene, with plenty of sniff stops. I'm a runner as well and am happy to take your dog on runs on Eastern Parkway or in the park! And I'm happy just to cuddle and play.
