We offer an interactive, warm and welcoming experience for your pet while you are away. One of us works remotely and is able to provide companionship for your dog throughout the day. We are both here in the summers :). Your dog will enjoy being outside, walking around the acre and a half, playing in the fenced in area, and going for walks on the bike path (in front of the house). We provide frequent check-ins to insure you feel connected to your pet while you are away and we can always be reached during the day. We have experience taking care of a variety of animals from horses, sheep, chickens, ducks, inside and outside birds, rabbits, rats, fish, cats, and dogs. We try to tailor your dog's stay to what they normally experience at home. We will talk with you to create a plan of stay depending on your dog's needs.  We provide large 42 inch length crates, beds and food bowls. We do crate at night for the safety of your pet. We currently do not take puppies under 6 months, pets that are un-spayed or un-neutered, pets that are not potty trained or pets that are aggressive towards other animals.   For the safety of our dog and any other dog we have staying with us, we ask that owners share documentation of an annual vaccination summary with us. Your pet's annual vaccinations should have Rabies: (1 or 3 year), DHPP: (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvo), Bordetella (Kennel cough), and Lepto. We do request that flea/tick medicine has been applied, as we are in a heavily wooded area. Drop off is as early as 6 am and pick up as late as 6 pm. We book 24 hours stays for boarding, so drop off and pick up time should be within the same time frame, but we are flexible by an hour or two. If your pick up is 2+ hours past the 24 hour drop off time, day care will be needed. When communicating a drop off/pick up time, please give us a set time and not a window of time. We greatly appreciate texts about arrival and departure times. We have a pet care routine with our own dog Goose, so it is easy to add others into our walking, feeding and loving routine. :) We follow instructions from each pet owner regarding physical activity, feeding and lounging on a daily basis. We aim to make your pet as comfortable as he/she is at home.
