House Sitting - it important for me to meet you before committing to a house sitting. This is so I can understand how your dog needs to be cared for because every dog is different. I like to make sure the dog feels comfortable so if that’s having a cuddle on the couch or having a good run around in the garden it’s important to know this before the service begins. I’ll send you lots of photos and regular updates (unless requested otherwise) so you know your fur baby is having a great time whilst you’re away. Dog walking - Again, I prefer to meet pup and owner prior to a walk to get to know one another. I know Guildford well so know the perfect hot spots and the quieter walking routes to cater to their needs. I love a longer walk so tend to push toward the hour long service as opposed to 30 minutes. However am more than happy to take a slower pace for our older babies. Drop ins - These include lots of cuddles and play! Breaking up a dog’s day to have less periods of loneliness is super important! Especially for the breeds with active brains. Again, each drop in is catered to what you and your dog needs and can be discussed in a prior meeting
Information Erin R. would like to know about your pet
Crucial things to know before caring for your pet: Dogs reactivity levels - No dog is perfect and just like humans, can be anxious to different sounds, people, dogs, specific breeds etc. How would you like me to tackle these things? Recall abilities - Can your dog be let off lead? It’s important to know that I am unlikely to let dogs off lead on the first meeting. Trust has to be established for the safety of your dog, other dogs and myself. If you’d like to demonstrate your dog’s recall abilities, I can join you on a walk for our meet&greet. What brings your dog joy? - it’s easy to remember to inform sitters of our dogs quirks but let’s not forget about the things they love! Dogs can be anxious without their owners and so I strive to make them feel safe and calm. Knowing if they love a cuddle/a specific toy/are crate trained etc eliminates prolonged anxiety whilst under my care and makes both our lives significantly easier.
A typical day
Whatever your dog enjoys, we can do! Walks - We can go to Stoke park and roam free on or off lead depending on recall abilities. We can take a tennis ball or a pocket full of treats and smell all of the good smells. Perhaps a nice walk along the canal is more your dog’s type of thing. Or maybe a walk through the streets if your dog isn’t the most dog social. In the home - For the chill dogs we can cuddle on the couch and watch a film. If your dog loves toys we can play for as long as they like! For the working breeds I can load up a lick mat, stimulation toys or do some training exercises if that’s what they need. If you have a puppy, I have experience with basic training from my own dogs and Frenchie, Bruce. So can keep on top of toilet training, basic training, noise exposure, touch exposure. I have basic knowledge however if you’ve been to a behaviouralist/training classes and have exercises you’d like me to practice, I’m eager to.

Dog obsessed graduate :)
Pet care experience
I’ve been living in Guildford for 3 years studying Musical Theatre. Whilst studying I was a sitter for 2 lovely French Bulldogs - one from the age of 10weeks old and the other a rescue. Since graduating in July I have walked/spent time with lots of dogs via Rover (see gallery) and thoroughly enjoy caring for your fur babies whilst I am not in a position to get my own. I care for your dogs to the standard I’d want my own to be cared for and make sure to cater my services to their individual needs. Whether it’s a one off walk or a regular sitter, I’d love to hear from you! MUST BE COMMUTABLE VIA PUBLIC TRANSPORT FROM GUILDFORD Erin :)
Reviews

Thank you for taking such good care of Juni as usual, I always know she's going to have a great day with you and couldn't be more excited when you turn up at our house!

Erin was amazing with Benji he was so happy and I got updates regularly will definitely book again and highly recommend

Erin is amazing. 🩷 The sweetest, friendliest and most animal savvy sitter. She sat my three dogs with absolute ease and even had time to send me photos and videos and make brownies with my daughter who ended up back at the house during the sit! My dogs are old aged to brand new puppy aged and Erin made it look easy. Thank you so much Erin. 😊

From the moment that Zeus and ourselves met Erin we felt really confident that she would be great dog sitting Zeus. As it was the first time using a dog sitter and knowing he’s just a puppy we were obviously apprehensive before doing this, but Erin put that notion well behind us once we met her and could see how affectionately she spoke of her own dogs and was with Zeus. She provided constant updates and photos of her day with him, keeping me fully informed of his day. I have already booked Erin in for the next dog sit!
