I’ve had pets my entire life, from guinea pigs and parakeets, to dogs and cats. I volunteered at the local humane society walking dogs and taking care of cats during high school. I’ve done a good amount of pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors through the years. I’ve had to travel for work much of my adult life, so very much relate with being the pet parent entrusting my fur babies to someone else. I treat other peoples’ pets how I’d hope my pet sitters treat mine, and care for them as I do my own.

She has a wide range of experiences with all types of animals, especially dogs, cats, and birds. One of her super powers is empathy, and she knows how to read the energy of your pet. She'll give them space when/if needed, or will play games if that's more the vibe, all with you pet's best interest at heart. Both of my dogs love Erin and I'm sure your dog will, too!
I have known Erin for years, and I can say without a doubt that her heart belongs to animals. As a lifelong vegetarian and dedicated activist against animal cruelty, her commitment to the well-being of all creatures isn’t just a hobby, it’s who she is. I’ve seen this firsthand through her journey with her dog, Xavi. She took him in as a foster and immediately fell so deeply in love that she couldn't let him go. That’s the kind of love and devotion she brings to every animal she meets. Between Xavi and her beloved cat, Wilbur, Erin has created a nurturing home filled with endless purrs, wags and snuggles. There is no one I would trust more with my own beloved furry family members than Erin. She is responsible, incredibly kind, and will treat your pets like her own.

Schedule
I work from home during the week so would love to do daycare or overnight care for dogs that get along well with cats, and other dogs, even anxious shy-at-first small dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a cat and a little dog, who both love meeting new friends, although my dog can be territorial initially with new dogs in our home. For this reason we will need to meet any new dogs outside for a short walk before coming in, to familiarize them. Xavi tends to feel territorial with larger, very active dogs, so just offering daycare and boarding to smaller dogs, or dogs of all sizes that he is familiar with already. I have a covered patio and plenty of play space inside my apartment, and live in a very dog friendly and walkable area.

A typical day
I have a big basket full of toys, and a large comfy couch covered with pet blankets for relaxing, cuddling, or playing on. I can easily take a break for a walk or quick trip outside or field trip to the dog park if that’s something your dog likes to do.
