I am a professional musician and veteran pet sitter originally from Oklahoma and also from Nashville! I have been told I have a natural way with animals. I have been a huge dog lover all of my life and grew up with a beautiful Sheltie named Staunton. In 2010, I got my Siberian husky named Prince as a 2 month old puppy. He is still a bundle of wild and loving energy! Prince is supposedly now 11 years old, although nobody believes me :) He is a trained service dog and has been a therapy animal for many people. He is incredibly empathetic and intelligent, and yes, he talks. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. I believe in early socialization and consistent training, with an emphasis on positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior. I am experienced with behavioral quirks and trauma in dogs. Big fan of Cesar- it’s all about the way you interact with the animal. I am also experienced with elderly dogs, and can accommodate disabilities and administer medication. I am a certified volunteer at Bonaparte's Retreat, a local shelter that specializes in rehabilitating and rehoming hard-to-adopt dogs. I have owned several cats over the years as well. I have rescued and re-homed several homeless dogs, and trained them and acclimated them to their new homes. I would love to make your pets feel safe at home and loved while you are away.
