Loving Pet Sitters
Hello, we are Erin & Mike. We are offering dog boarding at our home, drop ins and dog walks in Salmo. (Not house sitting). I (Erin) have worked in a vet clinic for 5 years and have owned cats and dogs all my life. I have volunteered with wild animals and dogs in other countries. Mike has also owned dogs his whole life. We have 1 female dog: a 3 year old, Lab, Shepherd. She gets along well with other dogs. We go on a lot of walks which can be on or offleash. It's no issue to take yours out on a lead if their recall isn't the best. If the dogs happen to not get along we can seperate them by putting ours in another room or using a baby gate. We do have a fenced yard. We wouldn't let your dog outside unsupervised. We only accept 1 dog at a time. We have great communication skills and can send lots of pictures while taking care of your special family member. We know signs of sickness and when a vet should be called for an emergency. We are also well versed in medication delivery and timing.

Mike and Erin were wonderful! Highly recommend them. Very easy and flexible hand off and pick up. Our dog was well taken care of and felt very comfortable with them and their dog!

Erin & Micheal did an amazing job of looking after my cat (Tweak). They were keen to meet with me to go over the home instructions before I went out of town, and are super reliable. I look forward to having them look after him again.

Erin & Michael were great. They have a nice secluded place far from traffic where Cuan went for daily walks. I would recommend them to anyone.
Bowie had a great stay with Erin & Michael. They were flexible with timing, great with communication and kept us updated with plenty of pics.

Schedule
I (Erin) work in social services and am taking my Masters in Social Work. We go for long walks every evening and a short walk in the morning. Mike works as an electrician full time. We are gone for 7-9 hours per day Monday-Friday and home on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
We can separate your dog from our dog if needed. Or they can be loose in the house together. They will get a lot of cuddles and attention. If your dog is not the best with other dogs or you are concerned about your small dog playing with our larger dog, it is no issue at all to go on separate walks. We never walk offleash near roads.

A typical day
We love to go for walks, on or offleash. We enjoy watching dog training videos and are very adaptable to the type of training and routines you do with your dog.
