PLEASE EMAIL FOR CORRECT QUOTE ROVER DOES NOT GIVE A CORRECT PRICE QUOTE FOR MY SERVICES….. From St. Francis the patron St. of animals..... "“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love, Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy." Hi. My name is Erin and I have been working with all types of animals since the age of 15. I am a former US Army veterinary technician and have traveled the world working with different types of animals including exotic predators in Africa and Asia. My friends and family refer to me as the "St Francis of Assisi" in the family. I am just happy to be blessed with a gift for animals and to know what my purpose in life is. :) I just finished my BA from University of Michigan. Currently, I am finishing the pre requisite classes to apply to veterinary school (Fall 14). As a former veterinary technician I am medically qualified to deal with dogs that have any sort of issue whether it is medical or behavioral. I have worked a lot with K-9 and large breeds of dog (I love Shepherds). I am willing to travel to meet your needs. I can provide excellent references. You can leave with peace of mind knowing that your home and family member will be in excellent hands. Age, size, breed, behavioral issue, medical issues, do not matter. I have never met a dog I don't like or that doesn't like me. I believe you just need to take time to understand them. I am also certified as a Reikki specialist (for those that are not familiar with Reikki I recommend Google :) I do offer Reikki if requested from clients to animals. I am looking forward to meeting your family member and your needs so you can have a peaceful vacation ! Have a great day! Each client situation (need) is different so please email for a individual quote. Currently my rates are $75-100 per night for sitting which is dependent on different factors. It is a flat fee which covers all animals residing in the household. I do all sorts of services which include but are not limited to day visits, night visits, medication administration (oral, iv, im, sq), overnight stays, day stays ect. I will provide my telephone number to you in the email. We can discuss my fees via telephone and if you are comfortable we can continue the booking process via Rover.com. I look forward to being able to help in anyway that I can. I believe when you know that you have a gift you are to use your gift to make the world a better place :) Have a great day ! Certified Veterinary Technician B.A. (Psychology) (U of M) (2014) Currently earning a minor Chemistry and Biology (Pre veterinary science classes as a focus) Bite Certified decoy for K-9 detection Able to administer medication (fluids, injections, oral, sq, ect.) Prior Veterinary Technician so any med or behavioral issues are usually no problem :) Why I love dog sitting My history with dogs began at a young age during the time which my family had a labrador retriever. I started to work in a kennel at a veterinary office at the age of eighteen and in order to get the job I had to draw blood on a dog. I passed the test. At the age of 21 I enlisted in the United States Army as a veterinary technician where my first two years in the military I was stationed in Germany responsible for over-seeing medical care for military working dogs both in Germany and deployed over seas. I have extensive experience with large breeds of dog and am trained to be a decoy for bite training. My experience in Germany was mostly with military working dogs, but also with privately owned animals of all sorts. I saw different breeds of dogs daily in clinic for vaccinations, routine check-ups, health certificates, nail trims ect. I was responsible for helping train the first Iraqi police company in medical care for K-9. I have continued to work with dogs through out my life and understand training and operant conditioning techniques. IE clicker training. So if you are working on potty training your pooch or other behavioral issues I have no problem continuing your work. I have no problem administering medications or dealing with a variety of health issues. I believe that your dog is your family member and while you are gone you can rest assured they will recieve the most top notch of care, love, and affection. My experience administering medication Yes this is not a problem whether it is orally or through injection. I am qualified to do both.

Erin was the best ever! She has tons of expertise and skill dealing with pets. She sent us many updates and pictures while we were gone for a week. She took excellent care of my pets and my house! I highly recommend Erin to watch your pets.

Erin was awesome with our dog, Wilbur! She knew exactly how to handle an over-excitable 80lb dog, which completely calmed our nerves. She was calm with him, kept us updated the entire time, and was awesome!
Erin was fantastic!! I was very nervous to leave my two young German shepherd pups for the weekend. Erin came a week or so before I left to meet the pups to make me feel more at ease. She stayed in contact with me and kept me updated while I was away. She was even kind enough to keep my home tidy as well. This was my first time using Rover and could not have had a better experience. I will with out a doubt be calling Erin again soon.

Erin M is a fabulous dog sitter. I had her sit 3 large dogs of which one is a 6 month old puppy. She corresponded with me regarding how they were doing, so I didn't have to worry about my pampered dogs. They had a mud "party" and Erin cleaned up the entire mess without a compliant! Erin is reliable, dependable, and overall a very nice person. I would not hesitate to hire her again!

Erin was PHENOMENAL!!!! I have a fearful dog who does not warm up quickly to strangers; he is frightened of other people, other dogs, bikers, traffic, and many other situations and can respond aggressively if provoked by inexperienced handlers. Erin was able to appropriately read his body language (she asked me if his bulging eyes and panting were his typical signs of nervousness when we they first met). She knew exactly how to approach a fearful dog - she let him come to her when he was ready, encouraging him with treats while ensuring his environment was calm and non-threatening. I was so impressed! She definitely knows how to work with fearful dogs!!! She sent regular updates so I could relax knowing my dog was well-cared for. When I came to pick up my dog, he was happy, calm, and relaxed and had no problem letting her pet him. I would highly recommend Erin and would DEFINITELY work with her again!!!!
Erin could not have been better came by twice before we left to be sure she knew our the special needs of our dog who is diabetic and on insulin shots twice a day. Our dog is also blind so keeping her at home in her environment was important to us and Erin did a beautiful job of keeping our home clean and safe for her. Erin went above and beyond just watching our dog and cat but also coordinated my cleaning lady getting into the house and also worked with our realtor for showing our home several times. She did the extra things I would have done if I was home. Run the vacuum or clean a window and spray some air freshener. She is worth every penny and more. We love her. She sent us updates and our animals were so well cared for and so were we. We were so blessed to have found Erin. Thanks Erin for the love you showed Princess and Bandit.
