I have a larged, shaded fenced yard and never leave dogs outside unattended. The inside of our home is also very dog friendly. We allow them on furniture and have enough dog beds for everyone.
Information Erin M. would like to know about your pet
For drop-ins: Is your pet comfortable with strangers coming into your home while you are away? What has the potential to make them nervous (storms, loud noises, etc.)? What are your pet's favorite activities? What helps to soothe them when stressed? For boarding: Is your pet comfortable with other dogs? Do they have any anxieties or special needs? Please let me know about things like separation anxiety or resource guarding so I can help your pet settle in. What are their favorite toys and activities? Do they like to play in water? We love to get out the kiddie pool when it's warm! Is your dog a lap dog, or one that needs a lot of exercise and loves to be outdoors? When your pet stays with us, I encourage you to bring any items that will help them feel comfortable and remind them of home. Their usual toys, beds, crates, or blankets can ease anxieties and help to ensure the best stay possible! I provide food bowls, but please bring your pet's regular food to prevent any digestive upset. I welcome hearing additional tips from you that will help me care for your dog. Please ensure that your pets are up to date on vaccinations and flea treatment. RESTRICTIONS: Size: I do not currently board giant size.dogs. Aggression: I do not accept dogs that demonstrate aggressive tendencies towards humans or other dogs (I don't mean rough play/wrestling, but true aggression). Puppies: Due to the high number of senior dogs that stay with me, I generally do not board puppies younger than 1 year old unless they are extremely calm. They should either be housebroken or crate trained.
A typical day
During boarding, your dog will enjoy playtime in the back yard including fetch, frisbee, agility games, and a kiddie pool, a variety of indoor toys, and, of course, endless petting and affection!

Pet care experience
ABOUT ME: I love animals of all kinds. I have had dogs and cats for most of my life, and have been caring for others' pets since 2009. I have also owned birds, fish, tortoises, and turtles, and am experienced administering medication (including injections) to many types of animals. We are a family of animal lovers. Our GSD/Siberian Husky, Quill, loves other dogs (and cats), and has earned the Canine Good Citizen certification. We also have four cats, all of whom get along with dogs. I would love to care for your pet like it was another member of my family! Please check out and like my Facebook page, Emo's Pet Sitting, for more day-to-day pictures and general information about my pet sitting. ABOUT MY HOME (for boarding clients): In addition to giving your dog(s) lots of play time and affection, I use security cameras to keep an eye on them when I am out of the house. Because our dog used to be an avid chewer, our house is also thoroughly dog proof. We keep our toy supply stocked with durable indoor and outdoor toys, and all food, medication, cleaners, and trash stays out of reach. All dogs are fed in separate areas to prevent resource guarding and stomach upset from getting into someoneelse's food. We have a spacious, shady back yard with lots of room to run and play; dogs are never left outside unattended. Our first priority is the well-being and safety of all animals in our home. FOR DROP INS: I want your pets to be comfortable and will follow their normal routine as closely as possible while you are away. Drop-ins can include feeding, outdoor potty breaks, cleanup of pet messes, or indoor/outdoor playtime. Please note that walks are a separate service.
Reviews

I contacted Erin last minute due to my work schedule and she was so accommodating! I cannot thank her enough!

We use Erin every time we can. She’s the best and our dog absolutely loves his stay each time! She sends us pics throughout his stay and is always friendly. If I could give her more stars I would!

We love having Erin look after our Archer pup! He adores her and I can tell by his excitement that she treats him as sweetly as she treats us. She always sends update pics throughout his stay and is super fast at responding to messages. She is my first choice for a Rover sitter and we’re so happy we found her years ago! 😊

Erin is so great with all types of dogs. She treats our dogs like her own. She is loving and kind. Our dogs love her and her large backyard. Quill, her dog is sweet and great with our dogs.
