Safety, trust & environment

I have an SUV that can fit a dog in the backseat comfortably. AC and/or windows down-whatever it takes to make sure our furry friend is comfortable :) I always have a water bottle and silicone bowl specifically for the animal to use if needed. I tend to stay within a 15km radius from mine or the clients home as an added layer of comfort.

Information Erin M. would like to know about your pet

I’d like to know what their triggers are- certain size, breed or colour of other dogs that may trigger your dog. If they are extremely talented at finding hidden food (my dog was and found a donut in the forest!! haha). If they have allergies or typically need snacks/water/breaks more frequently. If they have a history of aggression.

A typical day

A typical outing would include being attentive to their needs, forest trail with lots of time to smell and take our time, lots of rubs and maybe a treat if mom/dad allows :)

Gentle Nature Walks for Dogs

Pet care experience

I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, fish—and even built little frog habitats as a kid! I used to have a dog I took on peaceful forest walks; she’s since passed, and I really miss those times. While I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, I’d love to help others by offering calm, nature-filled walks and care. I let dogs sniff, explore, and move at their own pace so they can fully enjoy their surroundings. Nature time is therapeutic—for both of us!

This was our first time using the Rover app and we were a bit nervous…but Erin kept us updated on the pups and sent photos and we were able to relax and enjoy our little get away! Was a very positive experience and we will definitely be keeping this awesome service in mind for the future!

I can confidently recommend Erin as one of the most responsible and loving pet caregivers l've ever met. Erin shows genuine compassion, attentiveness, and a deep understanding of what it takes to make a pet feel safe, happy, and well cared for. It's rare to find someone with such a strong sense of responsibility and with such a warm heart. I highly recommend Erin to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet.
