I am currently a student at UCD studying psychology. Getting the chance to take care of dogs during the day is my favorite way to spend my free time!

Safety, trust & environment
I prefer you leave detailed instructions for me on your pet's needs so that I am able to give them the exact care you expect them to receive. Knowing a little about their personality can help me warm up to them faster, too, so they aren't as nervous about someone unfamiliar coming to check in on them!
Information Erin M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any reactivity to other people/animals so I can keep them safe when we are out for walks, as well as any dietary restrictions. Knowing any trouble they're particularly keen to partake in (getting in the trash, marking behaviours) are also great to know beforehand!
A typical day
I love going for walks with dogs who enjoy outdoor activities, as well as setting up activities to work their mind, such as treat puzzles or sniffing games (setting up boxes and hiding treats in several of them, then watching your dog seek out a snack is a great way to expend some mental energy).

Pet care experience
If you recognize my face, it's probably because I've asked to pet your dog while out on a walk! I am currently living in Dublin while studying psychology at UCD. My own dog, Daisy, is staying home with my family in the States while I go to school for the next few years. I got my first job working with dogs 13 years ago at a pet supply store, because I asked to pet the owner's dog every time my family went to pick up dog food. I got my second job at 16 by similar means: I worked at a dog kennel after asking the owner if I could play with the dogs out back when my family dropped our own dog off for boarding. I have experience with reactive dogs, as I completed private training with my dog Daisy several years ago. She initially struggled with high reactivity after I adopted her from the local shelter. I would be happy to work with your dog on anxiety behaviours as well if you like! I absolutely love working with dogs, and enjoy every opportunity I have to make a new four-legged friend. I would love to give your pet the time and attention they need while you are busy throughout the day.
Reviews
Erin M. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Erin was brilliant with our 11 week old pup, a lot of communication throughout the day, we felt so comfortable leaving Lily with Erin, she even did some training! We definitely recommend. Thanks so much Erin 🐶💛

We are so delighted to have had Erin looking after our precious boy - she was so kind, thoughtful and caring and Bear seems to have had a wonderful time. He actually looks 10 years younger and is in absolutely great form! Erin is fantastic at communicating and sent us on some great pics and videos. The house was also spotless when we came home! Erin is an absolute gem and I wholeheartedly recommend her to look after your pet. We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.

Erin was fantastic, we felt so comfortable leaving Benny with her for the night. She's so experienced and clearly just adores dogs. She taught him a trick and helped with his lead training. We'll definitely be keen to have Erin mind Benny again!
