Experienced Animal Lover
Animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have worked and volunteered in animal welfare at animal shelters and rescues for over 20 years and have specialized skills in working with shy/fearful cats. I also have experience with training dogs, a wide range of animal handling skills from my experience in animal shelters, and have worked off and on as a pet sitter my entire adult life. I have also worked as an adoption counselor and have been involved in cat rescue and TNR (trap-neuter-return) for over 10 years. I enjoy getting to know a pet's individual personality and what motivates them to help modify behaviors using positive reinforcement techniques. I can't wait to meet your pets!

I met Erin before our trip and she was thoughtful and thorough during walk through of house, meeting the cats and learning the cats’ care and routines. During her stay, she updated me with pictures and details of their eating/sleeping. When we returned, house was in well order and cats showed no signs of stress or concern from our absence. I’d highly recommend Erin and look forward to booking her again.
Erin was a godsend to us over Christmas! We are so grateful for her kindness and competence while caring for our dogs. We could not have found a better dog sitter for Dickens and Honey. We were able to travel over the holidays with complete peace of mind.
Erin was fantastic! We have a crew of different animals, and she looked after each of them wonderfully. They took to her right away and everyone seemed very relaxed. Schedule
I work a remote job and have a pretty flexible schedule. I can stay in your home for overnights and can be flexible to keep your pets on their usual routines. I'm also able to spend long-periods of time at home with pets while working remote.

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure I understand your pet's usual routine and their likes/dislikes so I can provide them with the highest quality care. I make sure I am aware of all safety/security issues in the house, how to properly lock up, alarm, etc.

A typical day
I love to get to know your pet’s individual personality to provide them with the best care. Have a young pet that enjoys long walks, lots of playtime or hiking? Let me know and I’ll be sure to accommodate that. Have a senior pet who’s more low key and likes to snuggle? I’ll provide plenty of relaxing time and shorter, more frequent potty breaks to meet their needs.
