Dragonfly Farm
My name is Erin. I have loved animals from birth. I am a horseback riding instructor, I live on a farm with my two horses, my parents, and our dog Petey. I am a practicing natural horseman and dog trainer. I have a private in law apartment, a five acre back yard, a fenced in dog run. While watching your dog I will treat them like my own. A typical day at the farm starts at five AM when we feed and turn out the horses. Petey the puppy gets his breakfast and morning constitutional. I'll take Petey down to the barn with me while I muck the barn out and I let him loose in the fenced dog run behind the barn. After morning chores its training time for everyone! The horses get excercised, Petey does his drills, and everyone gets lunch! In the afternoon typically I"ll take Petey for a walk in the trails right down the street. Then around four PM the horses are turned in for the night and everyone gets dinner! While staying at my house, dogs will have the opportunity to go for hikes in peppercorn state park, interact with horses and other dogs (if you so choose), play fetch and run free in my fenced in dog run. I am not able to watch dogs who are not up to date on vaccinations, are not house broken, or are under eight months of age.

I’ll treat your animals like mine.. after owning a variety of animals most of my life I understand that communication, sticking to your pets routine and frequent updates are vital as well as being able to respond quickly in any issues. I love walking dogs and am an expert cat scratcher

Erin took very good care of my dog, we had daily messages and videos to let us see how our dog was doing. He had a good time with his daily hikes. I would recommend her highly and will bring my dog back when we go on vacation!!

Erin was great and kept our cat Barbara well fed and well-loved while we were gone for the 4th of July! We will definitely be using her again in the future, and would love to have our pup spend time on her farm the next time we go out of town! Thanks Erin!

Schedule
Im working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! Im available for drop ins, dog walking (or cat ;)) and house sitting services with frequent picture status updates. I love being outside and my last dog was 120lb Im comfortable with tiny to mighty!

- Let me know of any special needs, medications health or handling issues your friend needs. I have experience with puppies kittens cats dogs (a few other species lol) communication is key and I’d rather have too much! Comfortable administering medications, minor first aid/ care i have experience making dog food, with the dreaded cones monitoring stiches and understand the importance of a kind hand if you let is healing!
