I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication.

We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! We have 2 crates available (one medium, one XL, and when not fostering, two XL) if needed.

If the dog will be staying at my house, I prefer to know how they are with other dogs. If nervous or not super friendly with others, I can crate and rotate or room and rotate as needed. I also like to know how they'll do with my fence. Otherwise, allergies, health concerns, and activity level/preferences are all very important.
A typical day
I am a very active person in general. I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, and providing mental stimulation with snuffle mats, puzzle feeders, and training. Our property has lots of trails and space to walk, and I will only walk dogs on-leash for their safety. I will never go to off-leash dog parks or areas where dogs are roaming free. I can keep a dog entertained inside or outside depending on the weather. Cuddles and car rides are also my specialty!

Pet care experience
History: I have had dogs all throughout my life, starting in middle school when my mom and I adopted our first- under the agreement that I had full responsibility! Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue.

I had Erin help with drop ins while my 8 week old puppy got the hang of potty training while I was at work. She cared for the dogs, played with, gave snuggles and great report cards and pictures. She was punctual and very communicative and flexible if needed. I appreciated her professional manner and would hire her again. Highly recommend!
Had Erin do some drop-in visits for my 5 month old Golden for a few days. She was wonderful!! ? She took him on walks, let him play, and communicated every visit with me - including pics! ☺️ I highly recommend Erin for your pet care needs! ????
