As a mainly self-employed family, there is usually someone home most of the time to care for your pet. On some off chance that we're away, we'll adjust schedules to make sure it's not for very long.

Safety, trust & environment
We have 5 acres fully fenced in. We can walk on or off leash, your preference. We love having your dog as part of our family routine. In general, we only sit for one dog at a time, but we do make exceptions if it's a dog that we've had before, are familiar with, and are confident would get along with your dog. We will always double check with you first though to make sure you are comfortable with us bringing in an additional friend.

Information Erin L. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know if your pet is allowed on the furniture, where they typically sleep, and what their normal feeding preferences are (eat all of their food at once or graze through the day). How much do the eat? Do they have any toys they love to play with? Do they know any commands (and if you use hand signals, what are they?)
A typical day
We encourage your dog to become part of the family. With five fenced acres, we love to get outside (off leash if you don't mind) and get some good exercise in. We are good with pets who have set meal times or just like to graze. Liberty is very accommodating to either. On the furniture is fine with us too as we love to snuggle.

Pet care experience
We are a dog loving, self-employed family: mom (Erin), dad (Thomas), twenty-something college girl at home (Ellie), and live-in grandfather (Wayne). There is almost always someone at home. We have 1 small dog, Liberty, who is a 12 year old, four pound yorkie-poo. We live on a quiet five acres in a semi-rural area that is completely fenced in. We have a pond and a small rental cottage on our property, that currently houses a couple with 2 small dogs. There is lots of room for running and playing. Dog sitting originally started as a way for our then 13 year old daughter (under mom's supervision) to earn some money and start saving for a car and then school. It has since morphed into much more of a family affair, and care for your furry family member is a shared family joy. We would love to take care of your dogs and give you peace of mind while you are away from them by providing the best experience possible.

I picked up a Happy pup! He had the best weekend! Thank you!!

Erin and family took wonderful care of Fritz for his first sleepover! Fritz is a senior dog who can be a bit anxious and unsettled in new places. Erin and family were so patient and kind with him. We’re very grateful.

Striker had the best time during his weekend vacation at Erin’s house!
Erin and family took amazing care of my mini goldendoodle, Luna for 17 days during the holidays. Always sent many pictures and updates, I couldn’t believe how quickly she made herself at home! Luna is used to being off leash, and their home and property are the perfect match. Makes going away so much easier knowing she has loving care back home. Luna can’t wait until next time!
