For over 10 years as a youth, I competed in 4-H with my own dogs, earning ribbons in obedience and showmanship competitions. Those experiences taught me essential skills in positive reinforcement training, reading canine body language, handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and ensuring their health, safety, and happiness. I’ve owned and loved both small and large breeds throughout my life, and for the past 10+ years, I’ve joyfully cared for friends’ and family’s pets—building strong bonds with each unique “fur-friend.” I truly believe every dog is a loving companion at heart, and they thrive with attentive, consistent care. By day, I’m a part-time behavioral therapist working with children, where I apply patience, empathy, and evidence-based techniques to support growth and comfort—skills that translate beautifully to creating calm, enriching environments for anxious or energetic pups. My Services & Approach: Currently, I specialize in in-home overnight stays and house-sitting, allowing your dog to remain in their familiar surroundings for minimal stress and maximum comfort. I’ll maintain their routine with walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of cuddles, while providing you with regular photo/text updates for complete peace of mind. I’m flexible with availability outside my short therapy sessions (no longer than 4 hours each) and excited to meet dogs of all breeds and sizes—no fear here, just enthusiasm!
