When you’re away, your pup can play
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. We grew up with dogs and I currently have 2 small dogs in my home. I adopted my first senior in 2018 and have developed a serious love for those sweet (or salty) seniors. I also love the high energy of young pups! I'm currently working Monday-Thursday so I'm available to take care of your pup while you enjoy a long weekend out of town. I spend the mornings sipping coffee, feeding my dogs, and playing with them. I'll often work in my office on days off for a couple hours. It's usually prime nap time for my dogs! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs that would love to hang out with your pup. While they spend most of the day snoozing, they can always be up for a game of chase! I treat your pet like one of my own. I let your dog take the lead when entering a new environment. We will start out visit in the yard so they can smell and learn where to use the restroom. Then we introduce them to the house, water bowl, toys, etc. I have cared for dogs with a variety of health concerns and have administered oral medications and injections for dogs in the past. I also have experience working with dogs that have anxiety and other special needs. If you have any questions about your pet's unique needs, let me know!

Lemieux had the best time with Erin and her family. He and their dog Melvin became the best of friends. Having him stay the night for multiple days with her dogs gave Lemieux the confidence booster he really needed as a young puppy. He was shy around other dogs but after staying with Erin he is so happy and excited to meet other dogs. At the end of everyday we received an update on how things were going and pictures of Lemieux which really eased my anxiety since this was the first time we were leaving him. I would rebook Erin for our next trip. Thank you so much Erin!

Erin is the best! I have very needy doggies and she makes time to snuggle and play with them. Buster doesn't like people but bonded with her at our first meet and greet. Highly recommend Erin if you are in her area!🐶🐶

Schedule
I am currently teaching during the week so I prefer to host dogs on the weekends. If your dog is comfortable being alone during the work day, we'd love to have them during the week as well. I am available for drop in care any time after 4:00 on weekdays and generally anytime on weekends. Let me know your needs and we'll see if we're a good fit!

I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs here at the house. They aren't as interested in playing as they used to be, but they can occasionally be coaxed into a game of chase. When I'm in your home, I will treat it as it is my own and leave it as clean (or cleaner) than I found it.
Pets
A typical day
I am a teacher during the week and enjoy spending my weekends around the house or out with friends. Let me know if you're comfortable with your dog going on adventures and I'd love to take them out for a hike or brunch on a patio. I also love taking dogs on walks and live 2 blocks from a park and bike trail for nice long walks (and sniffs)!
