I work mostly from home (occasional meetings out and about) so will be there for around the clock care and cuddles! I am an early riser, so prioritise a dog walk first thing, with regular trips outside throughout the day.

Making sure your dog is happy and comfortable is my biggest priority. I’m very attentive to their needs and will make sure they feel comfortable both inside and when on walks. I have looked after a wide range of dogs, from Greyhounds to Frenchies, so have a good understanding of different energies and temperaments. My flat building has a shared garden out the back, perfect for taking your dog outside for a wee. I’m surrounded by parks for longer walks.

Information Erin H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any behavioural problems/needs and I’ll do my best to accommodate. Or let me know if they tend to need to go outside more than your average dog. As you may know, dogs can feel nervous when not with their owner, so sometimes it takes some time to get used to. All dogs I take care of leave really happy!
A typical day
I like to make sure your dog feels at home, lots of cuddles, attention and, of course walks to the park. Having grown up with dogs that love to catch ball, this is my favourite thing to do but I also enjoy a nice long walk. If boarding, typically I’ll wake up early and head straight out on a first walk around the park. Once we get home, they’ll get their denti-stick (if they have them!), their breakfast and then have a chill out. They will get regular trips outside during the day, before a long afternoon walk either to the park or along the canal! We’ll end the day with more chilling and, of course, lots of cuddles.

Pet care experience
I’ve been dog-sitting on Rover for 4 years now! I look after dogs of all sizes, ages and energy levels. Drop me a message if you have any questions. I grew up with pets from the moment I was born, looking after dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and even stick-insects… My family owned German Shepherds when I was young and so grew up with large dogs in the home and on walks in my home town. My family dog Woody is a Sprocker (Springer/Cocker) and is 5 years old, he joins the family on holidays and is the best little guy ever! I have been regularly dog sitting on Rover for 4 years, with a number of regulars and a range of different dogs. I also cat-sit and would be happy doing drop in visits for your cat 🐱

Reviews

Daphne had a wonderful time with Erin! Instantly very relaxed and Erin was great at communicating the entire time and was very helpful and flexible with arranging the drop off and pick up. 5*! 🩷🩷🩷

Erin was brilliant with our slightly nervous 3 month old puppy on her first few days with a sitter - Juno seemed v relaxed and happy and therefore so were we! Great communication and flexibility too. Thanks Erin.

Erin has been an amazing dog sitter for Skye. Erin is super easy going and have good experience with dogs. She has been very flexible and accommodating with Skye’s need; and even took Skye out for a mini adventure which Skye had an amazing time of. I received regular updates and amazing photos of Skye whilst under Erin’s care. I will definitely book Erin again in future.

Erin was brilliant, to the point that we worried Lev wouldn’t want to come home. Really lovely, great communication and very thoughtful to plan fun walks and activities. Will definitely book again!
