Availability
As a Zoo employee, I work full-time on weekdays Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. I am available before or after these times on weekdays or full-time on the weekends. I am a young woman without children and have pets of my own, so my schedule on the weekend is very flexible to take care of your lovely animals (or plants!).

After working alongside my veterinarian older sister, I believe I’m experienced enough to safely care for your pet. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and walks of life (older dogs are my absolute favorite, they are so sweet!) I am also the owner of two cats that require special care due to their breed and age, and it is so worth it. I have a lot of experience sitting for various different animals, and I am a trained horticulturist and professional agriculturist so if you entrust me to take care of your plants and animals you will not be disappointed.

Please let me know any or all medical needs of your animals. As a type one diabetic myself, I understand how necessary it is to receive appropriate medical management. If your pet is full of energy or spiciness, please let me know so I can prepare ahead of time to give them the love and care they need when I see them.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for a walk so I can get exercise myself and also let dogs explore “Dogbook” walking around nature for some sniffs to catch up on their news feed! I am a very affectionate person, and I appreciate when animals trust me to give them a belly rub, scratch or cuddle. I simply cannot say no to an animal that wants to be loved on.

Pet care experience
I am a professional horticulturist with an agriculture degree. so my passion for plants and animals is life! Personally, i have two cats (a sphinx and a long hair—Tiki and Puff) and a 100 pound Pyrenees mix named Tela). I have relocated to Nashville to work at the zoo where I learned more about animals every day and I could not be happier! 😁

Erin is an animal lover through and through, and that love shows in the care and compassion she gives to animals when she pet sits! As a veterinarian, there are only certain people that I trust with my pets, and Erin is on that list. When she watches Gemma and Franklin I get frequent updates and am worry free for the duration of my trip! You won't be disappointed if you hire Erin as a pet or house sitter.
Erin is a dependable and caring dog sitter. She sits for us about 3 times a month. She is very good with our dog Lucy and Lucy loves it when Erin sits for her. Not only is she dependable but she is also very trustworthy.she has been our dog sitter/walker for 6 years.
