Hi! I've been an animal lover all my life and have a particular soft spot for any and all dogs. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018 and completed an internship at Green Chimneys in New York State where I worked in the horse barn and with the shelter dog program. I’m now back in KC working at a developmental preschool as a teaching assistant and fostering for KC Pet Project. Getting paid to hang out with and care for dogs is pretty much my dream, and I promise I'll treat your fur baby like my own. At school, I volunteered with an organization that helps raise and socialize service dogs in training. This has given me hands on experience with puppies of a variety of ages, and some background in dog first-aid, potty training, general dog maintenance, and intellectually stimulating games. I love taking dogs on walks, and if there's anything you need to be done in your house while you're away I will definitely tend to it. I'm also a foster fail and ended up adopting a cat, so if your feline friend needs care I'm the sitter for you! Anything from administering medications (I've had to do both oral and injections for my cat), playing with toys, and of course scooping the litter box doesn't bother me at all!

I will always make sure your yard is secured or your dog is on a leash before letting them out. I know what signs to look for when I dog is becoming over heated, stressed, or tired and won’t let them push themselves to far. I understand cat body language as well and will never force them to interact with me.

Erin took great care of our dog Jack while we were out of town! She did drop in visits and kept us updated on how he was doing. We definitely recommend using Erin!

Erin was great! My dog warmed up to her right away and I felt very comfortable leaving my house and pup in her care. She managed a couple of his minor issues with professionalism and concern. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work full time as a vet tech but only work 4 days a week. My days off are Saturday-Monday and I’m available in the evenings after 6:30 most days.
