I have worked at 3 different vets from the time I was 15-21, volunteered as a foster home for rescue animals for 5 years, and have over 12 years experience pet sitting in my home. I treat your pets like family, and since I’m a Stay at Home Mom I am home constantly to care for your pets. I also have experience training dogs, having gone through multiple obedience classes with all of my dogs. Currently I am training a therapy dog, my Willow. From high energy to just wanting to “chill”, I am able to accommodate your best friends’ needs. Pets are my passion and I love getting to know each one’s unique personality. Since I have worked in vets offices, I have experience administering first aid and giving medications, if needed. I also have a wonderful set up to bathe your pet and am very experienced clipping nails and cleaning ears. Your pet’s comfort always comes first, so I will always be vigilant to their needs and keep you updated with photos of what they have been doing! This should be their doggie vacation too!

Our two dogs loved staying with Erin! She did a great job, including her timely communication, asking about our needs and preferences at the meet and greet, keeping us updated on how they were doing during their overnight stay, and having them all ready and for us to pick up. Our dogs were calm and happy when we picked them up which is always a great sign that they have enjoyed their stay with a sitter. We have already booked another longer stay with Erin and we know that they will be safe and well cared for while we are gone. We highly recommend Erin!

Schedule
I am a stay at home mom with a very flexible schedule. I am unavailable during school drop off and pick up times, but am available the rest of the day. I am very understanding when a flight gets delayed, or you get stuck going through terrible traffic.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard, a kiddie pool for those pups who enjoy the water, and your pup will receive their own large room to stay in at night, or if I have to step out. I let the pups in and out freely throughout the day, as many times as they need or want. We live in a large home with plenty of space for pups to spread out, and a climate controlled sunroom that pups just love to go sunbathe in. Our dogs are allowed on furniture, and we welcome guest doggies to do the same, IF they are allowed to do so at home. Our neighborhood is a wonderful place for walks with routes that go from challenging for the more high energy breeds, to even and flat for the more easy going or senior pups. We have one family dog, our 4 year old Golden Retriever Willow, who is training to be a therapy dog currently. She is very easy going and matches other pup's energy and play style well, and is very used to other guest pups. She was originally trained as a service dog. Both my children are older and love to play with and help entertain the “guest doggies.” I stick to your routine and schedule, feed when you feed, and only crate if you crate. Do they have a favorite toy, blanket, or bed? Bring it! I want them to feel at ease and at home here.

A typical day
We live in a wonderful neighborhood for long, pleasant walks. Our large, fully privacy fenced backyard is perfect for running off that extra energy with other pups, or playing fetch to their hearts desire. During the summer I set up a small kiddie pool for those that enjoy the water. In the evenings we all cuddle up on pillows and blankets on the couch to wind down for bedtime, or anytime!
