Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As an owner of a misfit farm, my day already revolves around caring for animals, so providing attentive, structured care feels second nature to me. I intentionally keep my schedule balanced so I can give each pet the time, patience, and attention they deserve. Whether it’s morning feedings, midday check-ins, evening playtime, or medication schedules, I’m consistent and dependable. I prioritize clear communication and make sure your pet’s routine stays as close to normal as possible while you’re away.

Before caring for your pet, I love learning as much as possible about their personality, routine, and preferences. Every animal is unique, and the more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more comfortable their care will be. Important things I like to know: • Feeding schedule, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions • Medication instructions (if applicable) • Energy level and exercise needs • Behavioral quirks (separation anxiety, resource guarding, fear triggers, etc.) • How they respond to new people or environments • Litter box habits or potty routines • Emergency vet information I also appreciate knowing their favorite toys, treats, hiding spots, and what helps them feel safe. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while giving you complete peace of mind.
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level! For dogs, that can mean long walks, fetch, enrichment toys, and reinforcing basic training…plus plenty of affection and one-on-one attention. For cats, I enjoy interactive wand play, treat puzzles, enrichment activities, and creating calm, cozy spaces where they feel safe and secure. No matter the pet, my goal is for them to feel happy, stimulated, and genuinely loved while you’re away…not just supervised, but truly cared for and understood.

Pet care experience
Animals have always been both a love and a safe haven for me. I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, along with cats, bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, lizards, snakes, and fish. I’ve ridden and cared for horses since I was 9 and continue to do so today. I also volunteer at a zoo, where I’ve had the incredible opportunity to learn about and participate in the care of exotic animals. In addition to my lifelong hands-on experience, I actively work as a veterinary assistant and am currently applying to vet school. I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring health changes, and caring for pets with special needs. Whether I’m reinforcing puppy training or giving extra patience and support to a senior pet, I treat every animal like they’re my own…with compassion, attentiveness, and lots of love.

Greatest sitter we have ever had!
Erin was great with my wild pups! Her communication was good, she showed up on time, took them out a full half hour, and let them run all their energy off. It was big relief to have them taken care of while I was away. I'd book her again.
Erin was awesome with my two pups. She didn't miss a beat with my hyper and anxious aussie mix. Made him feel safe and calm within minutes of meeting her. She took them on a long walk and even played with them in our dog water sprinkler. My wife and I will definitely be using her again to walk our dogs.
