I’ve had cats all my life. In 2020, we got an Aussie puppy, who I did a lot of the training for in that first year. After divorce, we decided to keep the animals together at my ex’s and where the kid’s primarily reside. However, I go over at least weekly to see the puppy (he’s forever a puppy to me), play catch with him, run through the tricks I’ve taught him, and bring him treats because he always deserves them. I’m also the proud auntie to my friend’s dogs, going for walk and hikes with them, and obviously bringing them treats too!
