I have a flexible work-from-home schedule this summer and into the fall, which gives me time most mornings for pet care. I’m out and about with my own dog anyway, so fitting in visits or walks is easy. I’ll be taking on as many visits as I can, since it fits naturally into my routine right now.

Pet care experience
For dogs who need more energy burned off, I’m happy to do a run instead of a walk, depending on weather and your dog’s needs. My pace tops out at a 10-minute mile, and I can get down to a 9-minute mile as the weather cools. If your dog is comfortable with other dogs, I’ll also bring along my own dog, a blue heeler, to run together. On the flip side, I’m also a big believer in “sniff walks” — letting the dog lead the way and take in all the smells they want, at their own pace. I listen to podcasts during these, so I’m well-practiced at going slow and staying patient. I treat every pet like my own: plenty of attention, patience, and care, plus updates and photos so you know they’re in good hands. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend!

She can continue the reinforcement of commands and games you use to help with consistency and keep your pet(s) sharp while you are gone. Erin is active and enjoys playing, walking, and/or running with your pet(s) to make sure they are well exercised. With strong empathy, Erin can provide love and comfort to your furry friend(s) to help ease any anxiety, loneliness, or how much they miss you while you are gone. If you are the type of pet owner that, even when they have to use a pet caregiver, repeatedly thinks about what your pet(s) would be doing if they were with you at that moment, their feeding and exercise/play times, and how you want to know they are being loved and told you will be back soon, then Erin is the prime choice.
I have worked with Erin for 12 years now and I can testify that she is one of the most caring and responsible people I know. As her friend in addition to her coworker, I have seen the care and attention that she gives to her family, friends, and her own pets throughout the time that I have known her. She is a problem solver too -- so I can't imagine anyone better to take care of other's pets!
