I have over 25 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, & smaller pets. I especially like caring for older dogs and cats. I’m happy to provide care for your pet and provide regular updates and pictures while you're away so you know they are happy and healthy. I require a 15-20 minute meet and greet before all new client bookings. This is free of charge, and gives us a chance to meet and decide if I'm a good match for your pet. During the meet-and-greet, I will ask a number of questions to get to know your pets, your home, and your care preferences. I can also administer meds if needed. Thanks for reading!

I currently offer dog walks and drop in visits for dogs, cats, and other small pets (including chickens!). My approach is to ask a lot of question up front and get to know your pet's personality and routine so I can provide care that feels more normal to them.

Does your pet have any personality traits, behaviors, or quirks that you might take for granted, but I should know about? Do they get anxious or separation anxiety? Have they ever shown aggression towards people? How does their behavior change when they are on a leash, in the house, or in a fenced-in area? I like to go over questions like this before finalizing any booking.
A typical day
If your dog likes to play fetch, I would love to help them burn that energy! Maybe they are older, or a couch potato, I can spend some quality time with them giving some pets and belly rubs. It is important to me that the care your pet receives fits their usual routine and personality as much as possible. I also enjoy watching cats and getting to know their unique personalities.

I work from home and have a flexible schedule during the day. I typically respond to requests immediately with my availability. I live in Mount Pleasant and can travel within a 10-mile radius.
