Information Erin B. would like to know about your pet

I am a huge list lover, so bring on the notes and instructions. The more details, the better. My job is to implement the same "everything" as you. As a lifelong educator and twin mom, I can seamlessly manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at a time.

A typical day

I am very active and have lots of energy. Sometimes I think the dogs are saying, "Hey, Aunt Erin, do you ever sit down?" I love taking the dogs for walks, throwing the balls, playing tuggy, giving belly rubs, snuggling, and much more.

Pet care experience

I have been a professional pet nanny since 2018. My clients become family members and I am known in the industry as "Aunt Erin." I have extensive knowledge and experience with all dog breeds, ages (puppies to seniors), sizes (teeny to huge), medical conditions, behavioral difficulties, etc. Safety prevention is always my number one priority. I don’t mix (no matter what)) your dogs with any other dogs while on walks/visits to keep all animals safe. I steer clear, move over, stay away, etc. when other dogs approach. I am a lifelong pet owner (childhood and adulthood) and animal fanatic. I volunteer at three local rescues. I highly appreciate it when pet parents leave detailed instructions, which I will adamantly follow. I am very familiar with medication dispensation. All of your house rules and housekeeping items will apply. For example, if they sleep in your bed, then they can sleep in my bed too. I am an early bird and a night owl, so I can arrive at dawn or dusk. I serve all of the South Hills area. I send countless pictures and even videos each day/visit. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a retired school counselor. Therefore, I have an abundance of knowledge and experience handling special needs, behavior challenges, anxiety/depression symptoms, etc-both with humans and animals. The three Labrador Retrievers pictured in my profile were my three personal dogs. When the final dog passed away at age sixteen, I began my retirement career serving as a pet sitter. I also had four of my own cats...at one time. I take my job very seriously and am so grateful that I'm able to do what I love-serve animals. I am a retired thirty-year educator and single mom to nineteen-year-old twins. I attended all Upper St. Clair schools from kindergarten to high school graduation. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Elementary Education. I was a first and second-grade teacher for the first seven years of my educational career. I also graduated from The Citadel with a Master's Degree in Elementary School Counseling. I served as a school counselor for twenty-three years in the community in which I resided. I recently launched my twins into their secondary education endeavors at the University of West Florida and in the Clemson area. With my new empty-nest status, I have relocated from Charleston, South Carolina, to Pittsburgh after being a South Carolina resident for forty years. Thank you for your heartfelt consideration of Bow Wow Meow..."Ruff-ruff, meow-meow, Bow Wow Meow!"

Erin was wonderful with our 2 pups ❤️❤️ She treated them as they were her own. Our puppy is just 3 1/2 mo so he's high energy. ...the other is 7 yrs so quite the difference. Erin was fantastic at working with both of them. Would definitely recommend her and will use her in the future. Thanks again Erin!
