Erika/ Home a Lot/ Family in Sandy
Hi! I'm a mom to three kids ages 16-23 and stepmom to 3 kids ages 12-17. All of the kids love dogs, and my oldest is an adult who has been happy to jump in and help with our furry visitors. I'm also a 2nd grade teacher, so patience is one of my gifts in life. We live in a quiet neighborhood in Sandy, and my hubby Justin can work from home 2 weeks out of the month. His schedule has recently been changed to two weeks a month in the office. Our yard is 100% fenced, and we have a pet door, so dogs have constant access to the yard. We have a female beagle that we love. She's part of our family and loves making friends with other dogs. Everyone in our family treats her like a princess, and anyone who has watched her doesn't want to give her back. We've thought about getting another dog, but we have too much fun watching all kinds of dogs through Rover. I've had dogs in my life for 20 + years and love having them around. We really watch dogs because we love them so much! I am happy to treat your fur baby as if they are my own while you enjoy your vacation or business trip. My hubby, Justin calls our home a doggy hotel, so they get 5 star treatment.

Schedule
My husband frequently works from home, so we're pretty flexible. The dogs have constant access to the backyard and water. We do feed on a schedule, both morning and evening, but free feeders tend to adapt just fine.

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard is fully fenced and pups have access through the doggy door, or we let them out as needed when the doggy door is overwhelming to dogs who've never used one. We also love letting the dogs sleep with us if that is what they're used to. Our dog sleeps under the covers every night.

A typical day
Dogs with high energy are sure to get walks on the Jordan River Parkway Trail that we live so close to. We love playing fetch, snuggling, and doting on our furry friends.
