I currently work from home three days a week, giving me the flexibility to provide regular companionship, toilet breaks, playtime and feeding throughout the day. I’m available for pet visits and overnight stays from Friday to Tuesday, with morning and/or afternoon walks tailored to your pet’s usual routine. Outside of my working hours, I can dedicate even more time to your pet, and at weekends my partner is also at home, meaning there are often two caring adults available to provide extra attention, affection and supervision. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing in our large secure garden or simply curling up for cuddles, they’ll receive plenty of care, company and love while they’re with us.

We have a non-smoking home, and i am a qualified human first aider, so your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my priority. I’ve regularly cared for my dad’s Border Collie, who is now a senior dog. Looking after her has given me experience adapting to an older dog’s needs, including administering medication with meals, keeping walks to a comfortable distance, and making sure she has plenty of rest, affection and companionship. I believe every pet is unique. I take the time to learn their routine, personality and boundaries so they feel safe, relaxed and loved while you’re away. Some dogs enjoy long walks and endless games, while others are happiest with gentle strokes, belly rubs or simply curling up beside me. Building trust is incredibly important to me, and I always let each pet set the pace. There’s nothing better than seeing a happy dog doing zoomies around the garden or settling down for a cuddle after a fun day. My goal is for your pet to feel as comfortable and cared for with me as they do at home. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. For safety, I don’t let dogs off lead until we’ve built trust and familiarity. 💊 Any medications, health conditions, vet details, and an emergency contact 🐾 Any behaviours I should be aware of, such as reactivity, resource guarding, or not liking to be disturbed whilst eating or sleeping, commands they respond to 🧸 Where they usually sleep at home and any comforts that help them settle Anything else you’d like me to know to help your pup feel happy and comfortable during their stay 🐾
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each day to their routine, energy level and personality. Mornings usually start with plenty of fuss, a toilet break and (following your feeding schedule), before heading out for a walk if they’re staying with me during the day. At home, pets are free to relax, play and make themselves comfortable. I have a large, secure garden with tall fencing where we spend lots of time playing games, exploring or simply enjoying the fresh air together. For dogs who prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to sit outside with them for cuddles and company. Throughout the day, there are plenty of toilet breaks, fresh water, enrichment and, of course, lots of affection. I genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that’s playing fetch, giving belly rubs or curling up on the sofa for a cuddle and movie after an active day. In the evening, we’ll wind down with another walk (if appropriate), dinner and a relaxed evening before settling in for the night. Ideally happy to sleep in a separate room as we don’t allow pets upstairs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can see how much fun your pet is having while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have always had a genuine love for animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs belonging to family and friends, each with their own unique personalities and needs. My experience includes calm and relaxed dogs, energetic breeds that need plenty of exercise, strong dogs that require confident handling on walks, as well as nervous or rescue dogs who need extra patience and time to build trust. I’ve also cared for senior dogs, including administering medication and adapting their routine to keep them comfortable. Some of the breeds I’ve looked after include Huskies, Schnauzer crosses, Border Collies, Chihuahuas, Terriers, Labradors, Jack Russells, and Shih Tzus, to name just a few. I understand that every pet is an individual, so I always take the time to learn their routine, personality and preferences to help them feel safe, happy and at home. I’m also happy to care for other pets where appropriate and will always adapt my approach to meet their individual needs.
