I am a very attentive and genuine caretaker. I grew up with many pets at home and know how to take care of diverse needs. At one time we have had a parrot, four cats, and two dogs. On multiple occasions I have been the sole caretaker for all of these critters. I have an attention to detail in regards to their care by recognizing and tracking changes in mood and behavior as a way to keep an eye on their health. I can also be firm with dogs to uphold specific training regimens.

I first introduce myself and have a communication with the pets. I understand and respect that I am a new person in their home. I like to hang out with the animals as often as I can to give them optimal comfort and care while their parents are away.

Schedule
I love visiting new areas and taking care of animals. I work Monday through Friday and on Tuesdays and Thursdays I go into the office in Waitsfield. I would be away for about 9-10 hours depending on the distance. Otherwise I’d be working remotely and can offer a lot of companionship for your fur baby. Lastly, for pet sits that are 4+ nights I’d require some flexibility to either be away overnight a few times a week or to have my partner be able to come overnight a few times a week. He is also great with both cats and dogs and could join a video call! I am flexible and open to ideas of how to accommodate the pet, home, and my personal routine.
