A typical day
love meeting each dog exactly where they are and building trust at their pace. A fun day looks different for every pet — whether that’s a game of fetch in the yard, practicing “bring it” and “drop it,” a structured walk with purposeful engagement, or simply quality time filled with ear scratches and relaxed companionship. For higher-energy dogs, I enjoy interactive play and reinforcing basic commands in a positive, encouraging way. For more laid-back pets, I’m just as happy to provide calm affection, enrichment toys, or a cozy snuggle session. My goal is always to create a day that feels stimulating, safe, and tailored to their unique personality. Meet and greets are perfect to establish familiarity and a vibe. :)

I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and calm energy, especially for older or medically sensitive pets. I specialize in long stays and understand the elevated level of consistency and stewardship required when you are away for extended periods. I am deeply committed to maintaining your pet’s established routines so they feel secure, steady, and completely at ease in their own environment. I also take exceptional pride in how I leave a home. During overnight stays, I thoughtfully maintain lived-in areas, refresh sheets, and ensure spaces feel orderly and cared for upon your return. I tend to go above and beyond- because I believe your home should feel just as welcoming as when you left it. I offer a limited number of recurring weekly walks. I’m experienced with leash-trained dogs, E-collar systems, and properly trained off-leash work when safe and appropriate. In my previous community, I maintained consistent walking schedules with select families- something I genuinely enjoyed and look forward to establishing again here in the Lowcountry.

Erika was fantastic! This was the first time we left Jax since we adopted him. He has some separation anxiety so we were pretty nervous. Erika was amazing from the get go. She offered to arrive early to go over instructions and kept us posted on Jax while we were gone. He did great! We will definitely be using Rover again and requesting Erika when we are back in the area.
I highly recommend Erika as a pet sitter. She has fun with my dogs and is loving with them. She is intuitive of their needs which is an important skill to have as a pet sitter. Her communication skills are excellent as she texts prior to arrival which is helpful. I feel very fortunate to have her as our pet sitter. 5 stars!!!!!
Erika stayed with my dogs while we were out of the country for 3 weeks. I can't say enough about the care she provided to my fur kids. I received pictures and updates regularly and they were happy and healthy when we returned. And the house was left spotless as an added bonus. Will be using her again.
