We had a family dog for two years where I was the primary caretaker, ranging from training, daily walks, feeding and play time. I was also needed by my neighbors when they were on vacation to check in on their pup by feeding and walking them daily.

Every pet is different and will abide by your rules for the safety of your pet. I will check fences before letting your pet out so they don’t run away, and steer them clear of furniture if requested

Please do not let Erika care for your animals. Our experience with her has been filled with anxiety and regret. We accidentally re-booked her, and it was a big mistake. I’m going to leave a list of things that have happened while Erika watched my pets: 1.) My escape artist beagle was left outside by himself for almost two hours. 2.) My dogs’ water bowl was completely dry when I arrived home. 3.) Erika left my kitchen a complete mess and acted like my home was a hotel. 4.) Erika wouldn’t let my dogs out regularly. On a couple occasions, the dogs were inside the house for 11 hours without a bathroom break (she must have been unaware that we have outside Ring cameras). 5.) My beagle’s time sensitive medicine was sitting in his bowl hours after he was supposed to take it. 6.) Erika left our food pantry door wide open and then left the dogs alone. It’s a miracle they didn’t make a mess or poison themselves. 7.) It’s hard to get ahold of Erika. We sent her texts and even called at one point and received either a delayed response or no response at all. Erika doesn’t take care of dogs well, and I don’t want someone’s precious animal to be harmed in her care. Consider going with another sitter.
Erika was a great sitter for our little fur baby. The house was as we left it. We will use Erika again!

Schedule
I am currently working full time right now mon - fri 7-4pm in slabtown Portland. If needed, I can do a drop in visit mid day.
