Hello and thanks for taking a look at my profile! I recently returned to Boise after my studies. I'm looking to meet new dog sitting clients in the area! My experience with dogs spans more than ten years. I have fostered and found homes for 18 dogs and puppies through the IHS. I have also dog-sat for families since I was in high school and throughout college! I've trained puppies and rehabilitated shy dogs so that they could get the chance to find a loving home. I would love to get the chance to meet you and your pup(s)! I used to dogsit in Norway, which is where I was previously studying for a few years. That's why some of my reviews and information is in Norwegian :) I work full time so can suit pets whose needs fit this situation.

The well-being of your pet comes first. I prefer to know how much and when your dog usually eats, and any extra considerations as well. Thanks! 😊 Note: I only dog sit fully vaccinated pets (and puppies that are on-schedule for their vaccinations).

We were very disappointed with Erika's care of our two dogs. We booked her for house sitting, but she did not stay overnight as agreed, leaving our dogs alone to roam the house all night. She returned the next morning but then left again for most of the day. That evening, she never came back to feed them. I texted her around 8:30 p.m. to ask when she would be returning to feed the dogs, but she didn't respond for several hours. By 10:00 p.m., I still hadn't heard from her and had to ask a neighbor to go feed our two pups. Because of the lack of communication, not staying overnight as booked, and failing to feed our dogs, we lost confidence in her ability to provide the care we had paid for. We ended the booking early and had friends step in to care for our dogs for the remainder of our trip. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend her based on our experience.

Erika did a great job taking care of my dogs. My younger one is high energy and she was creative about coming up with ways to keep him busy, even in the cold weather. Cute pictures every day.
Very happy with Erika’s clear communication, frequent updates and friendly help.
Erika is very conscientious and trustworthy. She did a great job with Lagun and Mittens. We definitely recommend her!

Schedule
I have a pretty standard routine: morning walks and an evening walk. Sometimes we go on hikes or swimming adventures. Let me know your pets' needs and I can accomodate their routine as well.
