While I can't wait till my retirement years to spend more time helping a larger number of animals, for now I'm a full time employee with weekends off, and Fridays have flexibility. If help is needed in the evening during the work week that too can be done.

Every home I have lived in has included an animal from my day of birth (40 + years ago) to today. I started watching neighbors cats and dogs when I was elementary school. As an adult I'm still helping neighbors' animals. I have fostered cats and kittens to include bottle feeding. I've also been there for the last days of those sick and elderly. Experience providing medications of various types, and I also know that play time is important to help keep them in good health.
