Hi there, I'm Erika! A true dog lover at heart & someone who enjoys the outdoors just as much! I love going hiking with my furry friends or taking them on outings to some of Abq's nicest parks, ice cream joints, dog friendly stores/events, & much more. I enjoy keeping my friends active unless they're more of a couch potato, in which we could certainly cuddle up & watch Animal Planet or Paw Patrol all night.

I grew up with several rescue dogs, from small to large, and breeds of all sorts. Therefore, I learned the responsibility of caring for and walking dogs at a very young age. I've also spent a lot of time fostering dogs from puppies to seniors & the shy timid ones that just need a little time to warm up. I'm a big lover of the working breeds & understand the special kind that they are. Regardless, I love anything with fur & paws & I treat all dogs with the love & care just as they are my own.

I LOVE ALL DOGS, REGARDLESS OF THE BREED. Are they dog/people reactive? Do they have leash manners? Will they run away if given the opportunity? Do they have separation anxiety? Any food/treat allergies? Special needs? Do they enjoy the water? Favorite toy/activity? Enjoy car rides?
A typical day
I love to make sure your dogs physical & mental needs are met. They’ll get plenty of exercise romping around in the backyard, going on long walks, sniffing, playing with toys, puzzles, & working on training/obedience (if desired).

LATEST PUPDATE (MAY 2026): Starting the month of June, I'll be able to start accepting drop in & sitting requests again. Boarding requests (in our home) are still unavailable at this time, as our pup continues to focus on his rehab & recovery. We will update this accordingly & hopefully be back to hosting your furry loved ones as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience & understanding.

Erika was so amazing with my Rori! She gave her so much love & attention.. and what was really cool is she got down on the ground with her & played with her - I could really tell Rori was so comfortable with her. She's very trustworthy & personable & kept us well informed with a lot of communication. Thank you so much Erika!! We can't wait to book with her again!
Erika was a great communicator and Jax had a lot of fun with her. He was well fed and happy and she left the house in great condition! Will definitely hire again!
Absolutely 100% the best sitter you could ask for. Our dogs are normally distraught when we leave, but this time, they might not want us to come back. Erika is thoughtful, and cares for the dogs and your house as much, if not more, than you do. Communicative and great with Daisy and Duke (and im sure every other dog she meets) Couldn't recommend enough!
We have used Erika for daycare and boarding services, and our dog loves staying with her and Booker! He has the best time with them, and we get plenty of updates on how he’s doing daily. We love the care and attention he gets, and that makes it easier on us to know that he is in great hands (and paws!) We are so grateful to have found Erika :)
