My name is Erika. I relocated to WNC in 2020 after graduating with my BSN and playing college volleyball for four years. I am currently working as an ER nurse. I grew up on a ranch in Colorado with dogs, horses, chickens, and cats. I love all animals and will treat them as my own. As an athlete I am able to run with them or go for long walks. I am available to do over night stays and watch them in either your home or mine- whatever you prefer. I am comfortable around all animals and I am willing to play with them, groom them, feed and water, give medications, or drive them places if needed, etc. I will care for them as you wish and treat them as if they were my own!

My wife and I usually travel with our pups "Happy" and "Healthy" (10 year old miniature Schnauzer mixes) by car whenever we can but recently we needed to make a short trip to a non-pet friendly destination. We had the option of leaving them in a kennel or finding an in-home pet sitter. We were lucky enough to find Erika on the Rover website. She stopped by our home and we did a "meet and greet". Our boys took to her right away and we knew immediately she would be a good caretaker for them. Our trip came off without a hitch. Erika was happy to text us photos at meal times and it made it very easy for us to enjoy our short time away. When we arrived home the house was spotless. We both give Erika our highest recommendation.
Charlie had a great time with Erika and her dog, Raleigh! She sent pictures that showed he had adventures and cuddles. We loved knowing that she was taking such wonderful care of him.
Erika took great care of our two labradors and left the house very clean! She shared photo's of our boys every day.
I have a very anxious Aussie who gets very out of sorts when his herd of humans are away. From our initial meet and greet with Erika, I could see that her laid back and trusting energy provided my pup with the reassurance he needed. I was very happy with how the first visit went and plan to hire her again!
Our girl was instantly comfortable with Erika, which made us comfortable! Highly recommended!
We’ve had some rough experiences with Rover sitters before, but we will 10000% keep booking Erika. She’s super kind, loves dogs, and was incredibly respectful of our home (leaving it just as clean as we left it, which was a nice surprise after a weeklong trip and having two Aussies that shed like crazy). She’s dependable and actually seems to genuinely care. HIGHLY recommend.

I will care for your pet and home as I would my own. My priority is timeliness on allowing the pet to relieve themselves as well as exercising and giving them love/affection. I will leave your home as it was found and will always clean up after myself.
