I have a large fenced in yard and have our own dog, Terry, who is desperate for someone to play with outside. We also have three cats but there is a gate separating the upstairs from downstairs so the cats can hide if they feel uncomfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel relaxed and cared for while their humans are away. I take care of your babies like I would want someone to take care of mine. I’m attentive to details like secure doors, leashes, feeding instructions, and medications if needed. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where pets feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Pets will receive plenty of attention, walks, and probably a few extra compliments about how cute they are.

What sets me apart is that I truly take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. Some pets want lots of playtime and adventure, while others just want a calm human nearby and a cozy place to nap. I’m patient and attentive, and I adjust my care to what each animal needs to feel comfortable and safe. I’m also very detail-oriented, so I’m happy to follow specific instructions for feeding schedules, medications, walks, or routines that help your pet feel at home. Whether it’s a high-energy dog who wants to play or a shy pet who needs a gentle approach, I’m comfortable meeting them where they are, no matter their age. Clear communication is important to me, so I send photo updates and notes so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. And fair warning: your pet will probably receive an unreasonable number of butt pats and head scratches.

Erika watched both of my dogs in her home while I was out of state for 9 days. She did a wonderful job with my pets, and did home visits for my cats as well. She’s very experienced as she also fosters dogs, and will send you photo updates of your little babies as much as you want or need. I’d recommend Erika to anyone looking for a pet sitter for a short or long period of time
