Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because I already live and breathe animals. As a pet parent myself, caring for dogs and cats is part of my everyday routine like feeding, walks, playtime, snuggles, and keeping a close eye on their moods and needs. I structure my day in a way that makes it easy to be consistent and dependable for pet care bookings. I’m flexible and organized, so I can plan around visits, walks, or check-ins without rushing or cutting corners. I’m used to early mornings, midday care, and evening routines, so I’m comfortable adjusting to whatever schedule a pet needs. Because of my background growing up around animals on a farm and learning hands-on care through my grandpa’s veterinary work, being attentive to animals feels second nature. I’m always already thinking about things like hydration, comfort, enrichment, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed. Overall, pet care isn’t something I “fit in” as much as it’s something I naturally build my day around, it’s just part of how I live.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home, my priority is always making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their environment. In the owner’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible so pets feel secure and stress-free. I stick to feeding schedules, walk times, litter box care, playtime, and any special instructions exactly as provided. I also take time to bond with each pet at their own pace, whether that means energetic play, calm companionship, or quiet space while they warm up to me. If caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, cozy, and supervised environment where they can relax and feel part of the household. I maintain their normal routines, provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and snuggles (if they want them!), and make sure they feel safe and cared for at all times. With over 25 years of animal care experience and a lifetime around pets through farm life and veterinary influence, I’m very attentive to behavior, comfort, and health cues. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel understood, secure, and genuinely cared for.

Let me know ahead of time if your pet is special needs or has any specific schedule they have to adhere to regarding medications, etc. so I can better accommodate your pet. I love and am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and ages.
A typical day
Fun looks different for all animals and that is something I’m used to. My dogs are very different in that one is energetic and loves to be outside and the other wants to snuggle on the couch all day. Whatever your pet needs and wants is what we will do! We love to go on walks around the neighborhood and smell all the smells, visit our local Lowe’s for some human interaction, or even the dog park! Some days we just go for a drive with the windows down and get a pup cup along the way. Enrichment is important, as well, and my pups love when I hide little treats for them to sniff out! It’s always fun to watch them get excited over each treat. It’s not always high energy, sometimes it’s just a rainy day snuggle. Either way, it’s the best part of my day for sure.

Animals have basically been my whole world for as long as I can remember. I grew up around them through my grandpa’s veterinary work and time spent on a working farm, so caring for animals feels second nature to me. I have over 25 years of hands-on experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. At home, I’m fully in my “dog mom era” with my own two pups who I absolutely adore! We snuggle daily, go on walks together, and they’re a huge part of my life. I naturally connect with animals on a really intuitive level and honestly tend to bond with them faster than people most of the time. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and everything in between, including feeding routines, administering basic care, and recognizing behavior changes. I’m patient, calm, and very attentive to detail, which helps animals feel safe and relaxed with me quickly. What sets me apart is that this isn’t just a service for me, it’s something I genuinely love. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own little pack, and I focus on making sure they feel loved, understood, and cared for while you’re away.
