I was a professional pet sitter in Charlotte, NC for two years, and I’m now offering my services again because...let’s be honest...I miss the fur, the purrs, and the happy tail wags more than I expected. Whether your senior cat needs gentle meds and a quiet lap, your high-energy pup craves structured playtime, or your fish tank needs a watchful eye, I bring calm, confident care and lots of love. I treat every animal like they’re part of the family because they are. I’ve lived with animals my whole life. I respect their space, match their energy, and pay close attention to body language and routines. I’m also neurodivergent, which means my superpowers are detail, consistency, and emotional attunement...especially with shy or anxious pets. Overnight stays mean I’m there for your pets when it matters most....dinner, walks, playtime, bedtime routines, and even those 3am “just because” wake-up calls. I move into their world so their schedule doesn’t have to change, and I treat every overnight like a personalized slumber party (minus the glitter, plus extra treats).

Erika was great with my very shy cat. She was extremely patient and willing to try a number of different strategies to get my cat out of hiding. I really appreciated that she was open to suggestions from me, and eventually, a video chat with my cat during her visit did the trick. Now they are best buddies! She follows instructions well and is a responsible pet sitter.

Schedule
Pet care is my routine. I live with two divas,Gypsum and Luna Beans.My days revolve around meals, meds, walks, snuggles, zoomies, and the occasional dramatic stare down over the “wrong” brand of treats. I’ve built my life around reading body language, keeping routines stable, and making every pet feel safe, seen, and spoiled. Whether your fur baby is high-energy or high-maintenance, I’ve probably had one just like them at home.
