Dogs, cats, rabbits, all welcome!
Hello! I am a recent transplant to Charleston and would love to get to know the city through some of its furry residents. I have owned and worked with dogs, cats, and animals of all types and sizes throughout my life. I have been a regular volunteer at several cat rescues (primarily on the medical team) for almost 5 years. I am the owner of a three-legged cat named Cecil. My day job is in the medical field (alas, for humans, not animals) and have experience administering medications and working with older or disabled dogs and cats. I have particular experience administering medications to cats - pills, liquids, injections, you name it - including fussy or shy ones. Aside from dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes, I welcome all animals - bunnies, rats, snakes, lizards, birds, tarantulas, whatever your furry (or scaly) friend may be! Additionally, if you have a collection of plants, I'm happy to take care of those, too! Je parle français, aussi!

I am currently unable to provide stays in my own home (my cat would kill me...), but I will certainly treat your home and pets with the same love and respect with which I treat my own. Looking forward to meeting you and your animal friends. Any questions, just ask!

Erika did an excellent job! Was very thorough. Will definitely be rebooking in the future.
She’s the best! Our cat was in a great mood when we came home. I could tell he had fun with Erika and felt safe and cared for while we were gone.
Our cat is picky, but loves Erika! She was so great at staying in touch and giving us little details about her visits with him, which really put us at ease. ❤️
Absolutely wonderful ! Erika goes the extra mile to make sure my old and sick cats eat their meal with their medication. He spends times giving cuddles and is patient with the shy cats. She takes time to write detailed messages that are most reassuring and quite funny. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who love their pets as much as I do.

Erika was amazing with Hector and gave him a great walk. it’s obvious she has a great experience with dogs and love them. aside from the walk itself the communication was super clear and answers really fast. we will call on Erika again in the future 100% !

Zeitplan
I work full-time on a relatively unpredictable schedule (sometimes mornings, sometimes evenings, sometimes weekends...), so I typically fit in home visits before or after my usual shifts. Currently, in light of my schedule, I unfortunately cannot accept visits for longer than one hour at a time.
