I am currently working full-time at an ER vet facility and work till late at times but at times I do not work as much as others and am able to take days off if told in advance for any long vacations that clients need their pets taken care of for!

I make sure to meet clients beforehand and get familiar with where things are in case of emergencies and to just make things easier for when I come to care for the pets. I also like to come beforehand to see how the pets behave with me and what to look out for as abnormal behaviors! I am capable of doing whatever is handed to me whether it be having to crate pets, medicate pets or just go and have fun with them! I treat others house as very sacred so I make sure to keep the house as tidy as possible and not touch things unless told I can and even then I sometimes won’t because I very much respect other people’s houses!

It would be much appreciated to know beforehand if your pet is special needs or needs extra care than other so I am best prepared for what needs to be done when I care for them! Also knowing that they are aggressive in any way would be much appreciated as well since I like going on walks so if a dog is aggressive towards other pets then I know not to have them interact with each other!

Depending on what is allowed I love going on walks either in the morning or night to just get some fresh air and not have the pets feel stuck in the house all day!

I petsit for a friend of mine at their house so i was responsible for maintaining the house, taking care of the pets by feeding, walking, and crating them if I had to run an errand. I am in the vet field so I am very passionate about caring for pets and if there is ever a pet in need of medications I am more than capable of being responsible of caring for a pets that needs medication whether it be oral meds or injectable! I have only cared for my friends pets but would love to explore and meet other furry friends to care for!

Erika has watched my fur babies (2 rescue dogs and 1 rescue cat) multiple times. She immediately made me feel at ease with her ability to take care of my anxious and fear reactive dog because of her background in veterinary medicine. Erika is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind with my animals. She always stayed in contact with me when watching my home and pets. She made sure to walk my dogs multiple times a day and give my kitty indoor playtime. She sent me many update pictures and messages. I never had to worry about her not spending enough time with them. I came home to very happy, well-loved animals. I highly recommend Erika as your trusted pet and/or home sitter.
She’s taken care of my girlfriend and I’s 2 rescue dogs and cat several times. She sends us a few updates per day about how they’re doing, and always took them out on at least 1 long walk per day along with always walking them first thing in the morning and last thing at night. She also kept our place as clean as we left it for her when she house sat. Our dogs and cat are always super excited to see her and are 100% comfortable around her.
