Patient, Attentive, and Dependable!
I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a small farm, taking care of various animal. Now, as a Ph.D. student at Stanford, I am away from my family animals (which makes me sad). Rover gives me the opportunity to still meet and connect with people and their pets, so I can treat them like my own. I am very flexible with my time due to my student status. In my free time I rock climb and run, and would be more than happy to burn off some of your dogs extra energy with a jog! I have cared for dogs (mine and others) on backpacking trips, hikes, and road trips. I have administered eye drops and medication. I understand how much a pet means, and how different each dog may have very different habits, needs, and quirks. I am flexible and I am able to adapt to your and your dog’s needs!

Safety, trust & environment
I always try and stay on top of a pets needs. Whether that being attentive to if they need to go to the bathroom earlier than they normally do, what falls onto the floor, whether something seems to be bothering them, and whether or not they have plenty of water! I generally take extra caution and would rather be more cautious and spend the extra 5 minutes caring for them! I love also love to play with dogs. Sometimes I think I have more fun then they do!

Erik was an amazing caregiver! My dog Beau loved him so much and he was very attentive to Beaus needs as he is a more active dog. Erik was able to burn his energy with a nice jog and lots of playing. Beau absolutely loved it! I am beyond pleased with Erik's service and would recommend him to all pup owners!
Erik is an incredibly patient, responsible, and kind individual with plentiful of experiences providing care for animals. He loves all animals and will treat them with utmost care and attention!

Schedule
Currently a graduate student and therefore have an extremely flexible schedule. I am particularly free midday most week days! I don’t travel much and when I do I know ahead of time.
