I have no breed preferences or restrictions and would be happy to meet any pup that needs my care. That being said, I would be happy to set up a meet and greet so you can get to know me a little better. As for house sitting / over night stays. My preference is too just pop in and out multiple times during the day and night instead of staying full time over night. I will still maintain your house, take the trash out, get your mail and love your furbaby as normal of course. Just personal preference would be not to stay over night, but everything is negotiable. Cat care clients are welcome too at a special reduced cat care rate! I will clean the litter box, water, feed, play and everything else I normally would do.

On a stay with me, I’ll take your pup where they’re familiar so they can feel comfortable with me. We can also hit the park with your permission, or even go on a long hike for the more active pups.

I’m Erik and I love dogs! Their companionship is so valuable because they’re always there when you need a hug, smile, a laugh and a cry. And above all else, they’ll love you unconditionally. I can’t wait to use my experience and passion for pups to care for the pets of Maryland. Growing up, there were animals around constantly. I met and had dogs and animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities - no restrictions! As I grew up, I started adopting as many pups as I could and even volunteered at my local animal shelter. In addition to my personal and professional experience, I can also administer oral medication and injections. I treat every pet in my care with the same love and tenderness that I treat my own animals. I currently have three dogs of my own - Pablo Escobark - 9 year old American Bully, Biggee Smallz - 4year old English Bull Dog and Buzz Lightyear - 2 year old Frenchie. They are a motley crew, but I’m so glad they’re my pooch posse! I’ve also got two cats - one outdoors and one indoors. I love their independence and unique personalities. I would be happy to offer my care to your feline friends, reptiles, and rodents through Rover as well. I know how hard it is to be away from your furry friends so I’ll be sure to keep you up to date with what we’re doing via text and photos. I’ll follow your instructions to a ‘T’ because no one knows your dog better than you do! Whatever I can do to make your pup’s stay happier, I’ll provide it! When I’m not pet sitting, I love hitting the trail. I know some beautiful and scenic hiking trails that I love to bring my own pups too and I would be happy to have your dog join us.

This being the first time I have used Erik, let alone Rover.com, I found the process to be simple and straightforward. As for Erik, he was super attentive not only to my requests and needs but to the dogs as well. Every time he visited he sent pics of the dogs, knowing that something as simple as seeing your dogs happy makes you feel more and more at ease with the process. I have a conference to go to in a couple weeks so I will definitely be using Erik again, well done!
