My work from home schedule allows me the flexibility to care for your pets, even when given short notice. My pets here get tons of daily outdoor time so they feel happy, rested and ready for bed by the evenings.

Individualized care and respect is important to me. When entering your home and caring for your animals I listen to your concerns and goals and take responsibility for the safety of your fuzzy family members. Trusting someone new can be scary so I take the time to send a lot of photos and progress notes so you can be at ease that your pets are being well taken care of.

Any worrisome behavioral issues, special needs or undesirable habits should be noted beforehand and we can work together to create an appropriate care plan that maintains trust and safety. There are no bad dogs!
A typical day
I take the dogs I watch on long local outdoor walks/runs, go to parks and playdates (only for our social types), give approved treats and rewards and of course provide lots of belly rubs, behind the ear scratches and snuggling (if that what your pup is into)!

Pet care experience
My flexible schedule allows me to provide the care and attention that all dogs crave. I have loved dogs all my life and prefer to ensure that my pups are well trained and socialized. I am willing to provide basic, positive, reward based training if you would like. No yelling and definitely no hitting! There is no doubt that positive reinforcement and consistency bring about the best results when training. If your dog has a training regiment that you would like to stick to please feel free to fill me in and I would be happy to continue that training.

Erik is a true dog lover. He has had dogs in his life since he was very young and has always been a kind, responsible pet parent. He is very devoted to his dog and takes special care to be sure his dog is healthy, happy and well-mannered. Also, Erik's dog Brody, would be an excellent companion/playmate. You could leave your dog with Erik and feel 100% confident that your dog would be safe and happy and have some fun too!
Erik is a wonderful dog sitter! He's watched my dog Brody a very sweet pit boxer mix multiple times along with my chihuahua mr. big! He always takes great care of the dogs, fed, played with and happy. He constantly sends me photos of the happy pups and I always feel relieved when they've been with him!
