I am a very organized, particular person when it comes to cleanliness and safety. This primarily originates in my years of experience as a professionally and medically trained wilderness safety instructor, camp counselor, and lifeguard. I also worked as a water safety instructor, teaching lessons on how to swim to children and adults alike. For furry and fuzzy friends, I apply the same ethic of care to their health, safety, and wellbeing. I want to make your pet as comfortable and happy as they possibly can be while you are away, for comfort and peace of mind on all sides. I also am meticulous and respectful in caring for another’s home, and follow the mantra of leaving a place better than I found it. I also truly enjoy doing chores and sprucing up a place! This has been built by spending my teenage and early adult years so far caring for the pets of family friends and neighbors, experiences I always cherished and looked forward to.

A typical day
My energy level as a person is very high, and so I especially enjoy spending time around dogs that share this quality as me, and who are ready to have a Parisian adventure. I will take your pet on long walks or even runs appropriate to their fitness and health levels, and play with all their favorite toys as well. When we are all tired out, we will take a nap or rest together as well.

Disponible en français aussi! (A plus de anglais, je parle un peu d'espagnol et aleman.) Available in French as well! (In addition to English, I also speak a bit of Spanish and German.) Some of my earliest responsibilities were caring for others’ pets. Neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets since I was a kid. I’m a huge animal lover, and find it possible to bond with almost any pet due to my profound sense of kinship and solidarity with other creatures on this planet. I have a background in the US as a naturalist, environmental educator, and organizer in the nonprofit sector where I worked to connect communities with our beautiful yet fragile planet. I have a political worldview that is based in fierce love and defense of the natural world, and these sentiments have always been rooted in my earliest memories of caring for animals around me, ranging from turtles to kittens. I have prior experience with newborn kittens and puppies, and recently cared for my family’s own dog during his senior years as he reached the age of 16! I am an athletic, energetic, and enthusiastic person who wants to constantly be adventuring and on the go, so it comes naturally to me to match high energy pets! This makes me especially apt and fitted for dogs that need long walks and a high degree of activity each day, because I share those needs too! Erik has a calm and easy-going energy that immediately put me at ease. He handled my puppy Atlas with a lot of patience and care, and was always respectful, responsible, and helpful. He’s a very kind and gentle person, and I could see that Atlas felt comfortable and well looked after in his care. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.
